The location was secluded, relaxing, and intimate.
Going alone would be great.
Going with a sibling or a friend would be amazing.
Going with a loved one would be perfect! 
The staf was amazing, and quick to respond to any request.
The Juniot suite was well prepared, neat, and quite spacious.
The room was cozy, filled with a warm brown color, with a large window, portraying an epic nocturnal view and a mesmerising sunset, with an exquisite Jacuzzi placed right by the window. 
The bathroom was clean, and the towels were well organised, (the shower heads could use some thorough cleaning for a better and more relaxing bath.)
The mini-fridge was adorable, but a little overpriced, unless a better quantity/quality of snacks was stocked, (gummies, nuts...).
Although enjoyable during warmer seasons, I advise you to pack some hot chocolate and a book to spend some "you" time in the cold winter, but also EARMUFFS to better shield your hearing from the strong and unpleasant sound of the stormy wind at night. 
Overall, the experience was amazing, as I left happy and relaxed.
You won't regret spending some $$$ in exchange of relaxation, "you" time, an epic view, and a beautiful sejour at the Chapô Ba bar, on the 4th floor. 🤍

A Gift from VRL

My husband and i  booked the Junior suite for one night.
Everything was perfect! The atmosphere is so calm, no noises. Rooms are so tight and clean. Although there was a storm but the room was so warm..
The view is outsanding! Perfect for a romantic getaway. Just the same as the pictures in their website.
Staff are welcoming and so friendly. 
Breakfast is so yummy we enjoyed every bite. Prices are affordable according to what you get.

We stayed 3 nights there and it was super amazing experience.. the toilet was very small and need some repairs but generally it was fine. The service was so nice and the people there were so friendly. They have the best view of jounieh and the breakfast was nice.

went there for a short getaway with my husband and it was very relaxing and calm. the view was amazing, the room was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. my overall experience was very good

Nice hotel

Very lovely hotel, great experience, beautiful view, very secure at this time with Corona pandemic ( high measures are taken ) every thing is clean and well disinfected, excellent staff and best service. Even the price is acceptable considering the economic crisis. I highly recommend this place.

If you go through the pictures you think its an amazing hotel. While in reality its the opposite. Very old, smells so bad, everything is not clean, dust is everywhere. The service is very poor. Like literally the front desk people are doing the jobs of waiters and room service. Very expensive for such a terrible service. If you hold the phone it will fall apart because its too old. The mattress covers are smallers than the mattress itself so you dont sleep comfortably plus it smells bad. The platters are full of dust and the most chocking part that every time I called to book a night, they say that the hotel is fully booked. How come such a hotel is fully booked with such a service? I do not recommend it AT ALL.

Bad experience

Nice view. Everything else is bad. Plumbing is ancient, water is all over the place, jaccuzi doesnt work, no hot water. Food is inedible. The whole place needs renovation. You can literally hear your neighbors in your room from the AC ducts.

Worst hotel ever. We're here for our honeymoon and they gave us the most terrible room in this hotel. Not recommended at all. For sure tomorrow we will leave this room and choose another hotel it will be better for sure, since we already paid for this night and that what you pay is higher than what you get for a room on the first floor. What a shamee Bay Lodge !!!

Worst honeymoon hotel room

Make sure you order the suite as it comes with a built in Jacuzzi! One of the best stays in Lebanon accompanied with the best view in Lebanon! Make sure to visit the outside bar. Will be back for sure

Very nice stay!

We booked the royal suite being apparently a smoking room. It felt like we were in ashtray, the smell was so intense. They moved us to a similar room (supposed to be non smoking) but same smell.
Then you have the bar bellow with the music until 1 am, you feel like being in a night club. The music start again at 8 am for the breakfast. 
We woke up with a “smoke” coming from the AC...then changed again the room.
We asked for any commercial rebate but the only thing the have been offered is an additional free night.
For nothing I would recommend this place and waste another night there.
