Total disaster. Dirty, rooms falling apart, used old mattresses stucked in corridors, insects, super dirty bathroom, water falling out on the floor,  rude personnel, even aggressive. A nightmare. Never saw anything similar and clients don't deserve such a degrading service.

Speechless

Found Eight Guesthouse in our Travel Guide book, Reise Knowhow. It is 5 years old and obviously very outdated. Booked the hostel via Agoda. Thankfully, did not havr to  pay in advance. Horrible place. 
I looked at the room and left immediately. I think, they don't even employ a cleaner. Am sure, you will catch bugs there!

Filthy, run down

A room without windows, a poor bathroom and hot water were sometimes absent. Toilet paper had to be asked for patiently. Breakfast included in the price of accommodation was limited to a milk coffee, and nothing else. Otherwise the staff were friendly.

It's a guesthouse that's best avoided, even for three days.

Great budget Guesthouse in the heart of the city, on a quiet street. Old, but very authentic. Inside, everything is very plain but quite clean. Very friendly and attentive hosts. Many different budget cafe exactly opposite guesthouse.

Very authentic

Room was too small. Walkable to Jalan alor.happening place. best place to have street food. Good for only spending nights. Breakfast is just bread butter coffee jam. Microwave and electric kettle can be used at common kitchen..

Small but ok

I've been to this hostel many times, initially in a backpack, which is enough for this clientele. Last time the standings went down pretty badly, dirty rooms, wet outdoor bathrooms, a little limited breakfast. But the establishment is central, convenient, inexpensive and located in a busy neighborhood.

Simple and central

The room is dim, the sheets are very dirty, the bathroom is dirty, the windows are noisy, but they're damned... I stayed one night and that's the maximum, I spent most of my time on the wifi outside the hotel.

Notorious.

Excellent location to go around. The guesthouse is not very nice, is not in the conditions that the photos shows. We booked and then we read the reviews so when we arrived we ask to see the room first, and the front desk guy told us he was going to give us the best room before have a view of the one we booked,,,that was luck because the one he gave us wasn't very nice, I don't how was the cheapest one. The room has air con something really important if you go to Kuala Lumpur. WiFi was working perfectly. Bathrooms quite horrible very stinky, and the room very dusty and dirty nobody really cleans there, but since we are backpacking things can get worst always so we stayed and go with the flow, wasn't sooo bad :)

First impression: the shower that smelled more like a toilet than other things, very dirty there were even rat crusts that I could hear scratching over me. Secondly: the room with the bed that was fortunately made, but the floor probably hasn't been swept since several departments. The windows didn't close completely and the fan is very tired... finally, I don't recommend this place at all!

It's horrible.

I wonder how the judgments given in the previous reviews are possible, to give a 3 rating to a place like this, you have to get used to sleeping in the basement. The structure in general was decadent, at the entrance you asked to take off your shoes, but you don't understand why, given the condition of the floor (very dirty is broken). The room was almost a basement, but on the first floor.
