I don't know where to start. - They charged me twice and then they didn't solve the problem - Housing (No.5) without ventilation and smell of humidity even with gooters - Too much noise all night, impossible to sleep - the cleaning was much more than desirable.

Good facilities - nice rooms especially the private room on level 4 - bathrooms are pretty nice!
Staff was amazing especially the manager Pandu was so helpful!

7 nights

This is my fourth time staying with Dorms KL 2 which means I don’t have any issues before. 
But then this time something happened and I think it’s important for future guests to take note of this..
During check in they will hand you card for you to access your room, on the card (usually) stated your bed and which room you’re in..but when I checked in they gave me card which stated different bed number from what they had key in their system...and surprisingly he told me to not worry about it just follow the system so I did. 
So I chill at the common area and a girl check in and I noticed she when up to the room and when down back to the receptionist, and the weird thing is the receptionist talk so loud and literally I can hear every single words clearly. Apparently the girl misunderstood his instructions because somehow someone gave different card number to guests before us and she keeps on telling him the bed that he gave her being occupied. 
At this point I was confused like how can this happen right ? 
And later the receptionist complained to other guest by saying females dorms are worst because they just sleeps on different bed and I was like sorry sir this is not what happened because apparently one of you guys gave us the wrong card and never fix it till now . 



Beds 

I recently stayed at this hostel and it was a very good experience. The hostel is located within reach of the MRT station and bus stops. KL's main attractions, such as the Petronas Twin Towers, are a 15 minute walk from the hostel.

The free breakfast is good, and the restaurant downstairs is open 24hrs. That said, not all dishes are available throughout the night. There is also a happy hour between 10 and 11pm at the bar. The rooms are upstairs, clean and tidy with good air conditioning. The WiFi connection was very good. The bathrooms were clean and well looked after too.

Overall, a good experience and would recommend this hostel if you're looking to stay in KL. 

Good hostel in KL

For the price, the hostel is really great. Great location, easy to walk to, for example, China Town. 24-hour reception and the ability to have the laundry washed. It's not always completely clean everywhere, but that shouldn't be a big problem.

Price management very good

I found it a bit noisy at night. I could hear people talking from other rooms. Hence why not a higher vote.

But overall, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. The location was very good. Clean.

Price/value = average in my opinion.

Excellent location, okay value

I stay in a room with 4 beds, the room was nice a clean, the bathrooms also nice with hot and cold showers like mostly in the hotel. This hostel is near to mini market, and restaurant, it will make you easy to find what you need such as food or anything. The staff is super friendly and nice. If you want to go to China town, you could just take a walk to get there, only 5 to 10 minutes to go. If you want to go to KLCC, just walk to Masjid Jamek for 5 minutes and use RapidKL from there, it only took 5 to 10 minutes to KLCC.

Great location with a great value

Just steps from china town & night life hub , market , restaurants all within walking distance , the staff are awesome ... raj the manager is super amazing had issue with my room A/C sort it out on spot ... the room is clean spotless , toilet super clean all times , hot water 24 hours it’s rare honestly to find a hostel in such a perfect manner comparing to the value price you pay ... the hostel vibe is spectacular ... keep it up on of the best places to stay at KL

Awesome !

We booked a double room for 2 nights in this hostel and we were disappointed both by the bedding (hard pillow, slumped mattress) and by the smell of persistent moisture in our room. Also, there was a big leak of water in the hallway just in front of our bedroom door. Finally, the toilets are regularly soaked in the floor (and since shoes are forbidden in the building it's not pleasant) and there is no toilet paper in advance which makes there was no longer any paper in all the toilets on the same floor.

Bad Surprises

This hostel is in a great location, walking distance from many attractions. Rooms comfy with lockers and excellent air conditioning. Friendly and helpful staff. The bathrooms have showers and toilet together are in the same room and can be a little bit wet sometimes but are clean.
