Evil and abusers owners. Not recommend this place. 
Not ethical, word trusted and careless of human touch. 
They had charge me in advance contract, deposit and month to find out Me and my family have one day to get out because the owner sold the place not paying me back or honor there words

Really bad person

We stayed in Merida for a couple of days and this accommodation was fantastic! I don't give the full score because it has small but clean beds, nice rooms and great breakfasts. Also easy to find and near the bus station. The owners (a Belgian gentleman and his Mexican wife) are very kind and can give a lot of useful information. I'll get back to you right away.

Kindness and Cleanliness

Casa Chalia is located near the city center, the market and near the city bus terminal. From a tiny room where you get right from the street, you climb to the second floor on a steep and narrow staircase that makes it more difficult for a person to climb. Room  is a small room with a window facing the street. Wide, but low and uncomfortable, a bed with two tubs, so small that only table lamps can be placed on them. The walls are decorated with masks. In the hallway around the entrance door  are two tablespoons for things, over the bed  a ceiling with a ventilator. There is a meat locker system, a TV. There is no free room, but there is no toilet, but there is no toilet, but there is no toilet and toilet facilities, but it is very convenient to stay in the kitchen.

The 6-room hotel is 20 minutes walk from the central square of Merida. A 5-minute walk from the bus station. It is more like a gesture house and is served by a welcoming hostess who speaks several languages and lives on the first floor. The car can be parked on the street for free and easily under the windows. Decoration is done in a few minutes, the keys to the room and the entrance door to the hotel are given out. There are several hammocks in the basement of the hotel's courtyard, where you can walk in the evening. There is also a breakfast, quite delicious, with very tasty meat, fruits, fresh juice and coffee.
