I'm thoroughly disappointed this "hotel". We were treated like idiots.

First they stated we had to pay, even though the booking confstatedbthat payment had already been made, and they were shown the bank statements and booking confirmation.

After contacting booking.com we got told that we would get a refund. And the hotel had eventually allowed us to check in, with a room key which did not had a fob..

We went out and were told by the mLe reception staff that we must surrender our room key before leaving. And on our return was greeted rudely saying we must have a fob key for the room, as if it was our fault it was missing. The man proceeding shouting at us as if we were school children.

The room lacked the basics of a wardrobe, and most sockets were actually missing. 

Honestly, this place isn't worth 10MXN let alone what they charge, they seem to be incompetent and totally lacking customer care.

Worst hotel visit ever

It was great, we spent 5 nights there, cleaning every day. Very good people. free wifi. Excellent location for 30 pesos takes you to the international airport. We left in 2016 until today because it made it easier for me to create my user on tripadvisor.

The hotel is close to the Zocalo and the Palace of Fine Arts, the staff were good people and helped me with the general information, the Metro Allende station is close to the hotel, the only bad thing was the room; the bathroom had no door so when you took a shower the water reached to the room carpet, the room was somewhat damaged, came with an old TV and few channels and something damaged so that it could not be seen well, at night one cannot sleep well because the noise heard outside reaches the garage and does not allow to rest well, the cleaning service was good and they left the room clean and changed the towels and ponian soap, which I think they should do in this hotel is a little maintenance due to the deterioration of the room, that the rooms outside the hotel does not allow to visit.

Good location 

A great place to spend the night on the Cancun-Mexico City-Lima connection. have free wifi as much as possible!!! It is close to the historic city center, and there is a bus service that passes by the hotel.

Very nice to spend the night, very quiet and with basic services!!!

The hotel is economical, if you're just going to sleep well, it's not ideal for going with the family, the beds are wet and the cobijas wet. At night there were some guys who wouldn't let me sleep screaming all night looking for someone. The location is excellent for walking on a Sunday morning without so much noise and crowds. They can do a lot better starting with their saunas. This time I didn't choose it anymore.

We stayed alone to sleep.

There's a gentleman who generally works nights, and has a very bad temper, and does everything in a very bad way and screams, and is racist, and treats his customers very badly, and I don't advise this hotel, and there are others better than this hotel, and more than a part of this hotel doesn't allow visitors to come to the hotel, the invitations smell very bad of a cigarette, and the cleanliness is bad.

The attention of resection is pesim.

Hotel Florida is in a great location right in the heart of the Centro Historico and it's super easy to get to/from the airport as the airport Metro bus stops right outside.

It's very basic and is definitely meant for the low-budget market but for the price it's a good deal and I'd definitely stay here again.

For a private room under twenty bucks it's a keeper but do keep in mind that this is a budget property and so what you're paying for is a safe place to sleep at night in the city center.

Safe Room, Convenient Location, Perfectly Fine for the Price

It's cheap and clean place. old bed but it's not bad. Location  is good. Zocalo centro is 10-15min and Hidago is just about 20min for walk from there. wi-fi is good. U can come to here take a Metrobus from airport). Hotel staff don't speak English but they are nice i think. sometimes, there's no hot water for shower. and no elevator. my room was 5floor. These are no problem to me. but that room is not soundproof.  I can't sleep well during I was stay there-3days- cause of noisy. chatter and loud laughter, shouting, play the music, singing,drunken...of local guests (even until 3-4:00am in every day but hotel staff didn't warm them), knock sounded on someone's door and even noise of some machine at a all night (i don't know what a machine but it was so loud ) if u are person of sleep well in any condition, it's a perpect place to u. i never go there again.
