I stayed here for 3 nights in a 484 sq ft junior suite.

PROS:
The hotel is in a good location a few minutes walk from Alameda Central and the Revolution Monument. There is an OXXO and Farmacia Guadalajara two minutes from the hotel, where you can buy snacks, drinks, and pastries. There is also plenty of street food nearby.

The staff is friendly and polite, but I only met one staff member that spoke English. I speak Spanish, but if you don't, be prepared to use a translation app. I enjoyed having a kitchenette; utensils and cutlery were provided. Even though my room faced the street, there was very little street noise. I didn't hear noise from other guests either, even though the hotel was fully booked.

There are outlets near the bed to charge your electronics. There was plenty of closet space.  The bedroom window opened, allowing for fresh air. Lighting in the room was good. Shower was hot, and water pressure was strong. 

The ground floor lobby is spacious and modern, more so than the rest of the hotel. There is daily housekeeping, and it is excellent.

CONS:
When I arrived in my Uber, there were 3 homeless men lying on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. There is no sign on the building, and you can't tell it is a hotel. There was construction on both sides of the street, and dust was everywhere. If you walk to the top of the short street on which the hotel is located and turn left, you will see ladies of the evening about a block away. Turn right, and you will be at Alameda Central in a couple minutes.

The hotel is old, and the furniture is shabby. The bed is like a big cot -- it only had a mattress, no box spring.  One of the two dinette chairs had a cushion with no cover, just a bare raggedy piece of foam. There was no full-length mirror in the room. There was an ironing board in the room, and an iron was available on request.

Front desk is only open part-time, and completely closed on Sunday. There is, however, a security guard 24/7 who buzzes you in and out of the hotel, and operates the manual elevator. 

My initial impression of the hotel and surrounding area was rather negative. It has a seedy vibe. However, after the first day the place grew on me. Considering how cheap it was and the central location, I would stay there again.

Cheap bare-bones hotel, but I liked it

The hotel is located right in the old part of Mexico City, next to Hidalgo metro. Easy to go to everywhere. The room we had had a small kitchen with a two-burner stove, which was excellent. The kitchen could use a bigger pan and another pot, but it was adequate and functional. Getting the food from the San Juan market and cooking it is by far the best. The place is incredibly clean. The bed is awesome. Floor to ceiling window offered great view of the main street though that was also a bit noisy. The wifi could be better, but that's a minor point. Overall, definitely will stay here next time we're in Mexico City. Highly recommended.

Excellent budget hotel

The hotel is located about 250 m from Hidalgo, which is convenient to get to by metro from the airport, line 4. You can get to the Zocalo Central Square by metro three stops or walk through Alameda Park in 20 minutes. Literally around the corner is the OCHHO network supermarket. The room is quite spacious with a gas-tiled kitchen, although the setting is minimalist, on a tile.

Perfect for visiting Mexico

Apart very well located, very nice and comfortable, a fairly complete dining room, with a view of the Avenida Insurgentes and close to the accesses to the Hidalgo Metro stops.

Excellent location  Excellent location

The hotel is convenient in every sense. The location of the building is very important for the metropolis: it is two minutes from the Idalgo metro station, near the metro and city bus stops. But, in fact, you may not even have to use public transport because Alameda Park is nearby. You can take a walk through the park, past the Palace of Fine Arts, the Church of St. Francis, the shopping lines, etc. and so walk 15-20 minutes to the central square! Outside the building is nothing remarkable. It is located in the alley behind the high-rise building, where the hotel's front door is used for wholesale sales in the morning.

It's convenient for people in every way.

Good afternoon we arrived in the neighborhood near ecoyoacan señor antonio nos alquilo. we received a lady. we were in an apartment we received afterwards we could never locate anyone, when I broke a bathroom, there was no hot water and the kitchen lost water.

Excellent location excellent attention safety and comfort I recommend it 100% staff very kind and attentive excellent price very clean and very good place I like because it has everything necessary for our comfort to feel like one at home.

This is a good hotel in the historical center next to the Almeda Park and very close to Hidalgo metro. The Diego Rivera is also literally minutes away. The dancing in the park was such fun and the markets full of great crafts and lovely food stalls. Close to good restaurants cheap and sweet little cafes and a short walk to the main Zocolo.
the rooms have little kitchens which was nice for making tea, they were also very clean.

Besides there being no warmth in welcoming us yesterday, there appears to be no maid service, no heat and the water is lukewarm.  The bed is okay at best but really very uncomfortable.  Of countless places that I have stayed around the world, this place ranks almost at the bottom.  The wifi also goes out constantly so that you have to reconnect.  The worst part is that we have to suffer through seven more days here with no way to get out of the reservation.
