This hotel is in a fantastic location in the heart of Nyaungshwe, easily walkable to restaurants, bars, spas, markets, and directly across from the night market. The service is top notch, the staff work hard to ensure maximum satisfaction. The included breakfast buffet was great!  The hotel arranged a taxi for me when it was time to leave early In the morning 

Centrally located hotel with awesome service

I had a very pleasant stay here in this small hotel. Mt room was lovely and situated on a corner with double aspect. It was clean, there was plenty of room. The water in the bathroom was a really funny colour - I guess it had come straight from the lake. I think this was the only hotel where I used the bottled water provided to clean my teeth.
Breakfast was nice and perfectly adequate in the pleasant dining room at street level, just off reception. The hotel is family run, by the llos of and everyone was so pleasant and helpful.

Very Comfortable

Staff were lovely and helpful. Confirmed our bus and helped us book a lake tour. Breakfast was tasty, buffet style with Asian and western options. Beds were comfy, shower was a good temp and pressure. Lots of space. Good amount of food and such in our area. We finished our trek here and it was luxurious afterwards to stay here. 
There is 81 hotel inlay and 81 Central hotel located 1 minute walk from each other, same company but the Central is the newer one. We stayed at Central. 
They also let us have a shower before getting on the bus at night, nice touch. 

Not the hotels fault but there were pigeons nesting above our room (5th floor) that were quite noisy early morning, during the day till around 7pm. If you like to sleep in, don't stay on that floor.

Great location, comfy beds, good shower 

81 Hotel Inle

Perfect base in Inle town if you are planning to explore the lake as well as the town itself in comfort and a reasonable budget.  Centrally located, it's walking distance from shops, cafes and the interesting night market where we ate some delicious Shaan food (highly recommend the pork and rice steamed in a leaf). 

The hotel had a homely feel to it thanks to the friendly ladies who were managing the hotel. 

Our room was spacious and overlooked a tranquil monastery and energetic kids playing on the street. 

The best feature of the room was a cozy reading table with perfect lighting, set in front of a clear glass window and I happily caught up on my book 'Finding George Orwell in Burma'. A good ergonomic study table is something I miss in many hotels, including luxury ones. 

The internet was a bit slow, but the hotel instantly sent their very resourceful staff to fix it. 

We were a bit concerned about the water in the washroom as the colour was not clear, but the staff assured us that it wasn't a problem. They also offered us a complimentary bottle of mineral water for use while freshening up.

The reception helped us book a boat ride on Inle for the following day at a good price, despite last minute notice.

Breakfast time was interesting with tourists from many countries. This hotel seemed to be a popular choice for many tour groups. There was a variety of food on offer at the buffet. My favourite was the Shaan noodle soup prepared by a smiling lady at the buffet counter, who lovingly prepared the soup to suit my taste. 

During our travels, we stay at different categories of hotels. But it's always a smiling face and small personal touches that make all the difference.

Definitely recommend if you are planning to stay in Inle town.

Homely hotel in Inle Town

They have a sign at check in that says “3 star hotel with 5 star service” and I couldn’t agree more. Incredibly kind staff who helped with luggage, delivered us blankets within probably 60 seconds of when we called down to reception, and good breakfast. Very clean hotel and a convenient location. Only point for improvement would be the spotty WiFi. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Wonderful Hotel!

Excellent in all respects. Location at the foot of the docks, many restaurants, bars, relaxed atmosphere, and having stayed for part of the Festival du Lac Inlé, the beautiful boat race to see was located right next door. Cleanliness of this exemplary hotel. Excellent performance. Spacious room, many storage rooms, quality furniture, very good bedding and soft cushions! Great heart for the bathroom. Modern, super design, very large shower applet. Superb and anti-depressant floor! Ultra water almost instantly. All the staff, very kind, very professional sobs all adorable. It is very nice. Lunch with really good and very good choice and very sober.

A wonderful address for Inle Lake

Nice atmosphere and willingness to offer nice services, room service, pressing, shopping... just a few minutes from the boat launch.

Family

This hotel is in a good location, very central to everything.  The bedrooms are spacious and clean, I found the beds very comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and the view from our window was magnificent.  They have a roof top terrace were you can sit and watch the world go by. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly.  Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. They had a varied breakfast choice and would cook eggs to order if requested.  Whilst we were in Nyaungshwe they experienced a lot of random power cuts, the hotel coped well with this and had a back up generator, to be honest this added to our adventure as we had some lovely candlelit cocktails & dinners. We stayed here for 3 nights on out tour round Myanmar and enjoyed every moment.

Great Location and friendly

It's a very small hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished with everything you really need. The bathrooms are okay with rain shower but after the shower the bathroom is all wet. Breakfast is not so loud. Little choice of breakfast. For those of us who were here for two nights on tour it was okay. If I were here again I'd try to book a hotel right in Inlee Lake.

Located in the centre

The hotel had good sized rooms with all the facilities that we would require. The staff were so helpful it made up for a few quibbles that we had. Breakfast menu is a bit limited but it was ok for someone experimenting with Asian food. The location is good for the sights around Inle Lake. Please note that there is no lift so if you are not too good on your legs perhaps this is not the hotel for you. Good clean hotel though.
