I spent the night in Sittwe in this hotel that doesn't pay for mine. DO NOT expect charm or nice rooms, that's what you can find cheaper (20 dollars anyway) in Sittwe, that's right, well placed. The staff is very nice, they took me on a motorcycle and gave me advice.

Good choice for Sittze

I can’t believe I stayed in the 4 feets wide room a night for 30 dollars. C’mon I don’t expected much but at least give clean restroom. The window on my head stuck can’t even closed it and the shower, please... the worst hotel I’ve ever ever stay. 

Nightmares 

Comfortable beds, good air conditioning.  
Quite nice service, speak a little bit English.
The room is worse than the pictures - the walls are a bit dirty and require painting.
No breakfast.  
Poor insulation of the windows, it is quite noisy
For the money I would expect a better standard ($ 25 a night).

Extremely overpriced even at the standard rate. Resonably clean beds, dirty, mouldy bathrooms and worn down rooms. There were three other guests in the hotel during our stay and they still gave us a room on the top floor, where construction was going on right next door, so there was loud drilling all day. AC worked only sporadically. Wouldn't be more that 300b in Thailand.

Overpriced

On the recommendation of the Tuk driver who brought us from the airport to the city, we landed in this guesthouse. The room offered was extremely spacious and clean and the receptionist (and travel guide) was not only friendly but also very helpful regarding our local program (as well as the organization of our trip to Mrauk Oo). The guesthouse does not offer breakfast, but we could recommend a very nice Burmese restaurant nearby, where we got breakfast and dinner for a small fee - good and delicious - both.

Good recommendation from a Tut driver

I stayed there one night in February and the hotel is absolutely enough for that.The room is okay and my bed was hard, but I slept well.The location of the hotel is great (it can also be quite noisy), even though there is not much to explore in Sittwe from my point of view.

♪ For one night, all right ♪

Due to online booking system, my reservation seemed to vanish and I ended up with no room (guest house was fully booked). I don't recall the name of the staff member, but he provided top notch service: placed in another model, drove us there, dealt with bills, waited till we settle and provided all info about Sittwe. I m really grateful for all the efforts - many thanks!

#5 for service (did not stay there)

Sittwe is mostly a stopover point for those traveling to Mrauk U, and as such hotel options are limited. Among the hotels in the city, Kiss is the best value for money. Staff and friendly and helpful. They can even organise your Mrauk U trip through their partners there. If you're only in Sittwe for one night, this is the place to be.
