Great location, close to transportation and in a lively area for walking, dining or dining. We were also able to get in the car to the door and unload the suitcases, which is a great advantage. Great service trying to help at all times. The breakfast with toast, stew, cereals, zums, cafes and teas has a cost of 5 euros per person in a charming living room where you can enjoy the morning sun.

Hotel is in a great location in Amsterdam. All the main tourist attractions are walkable. A short 25 min walk to train station which is great for getting to the Airport.
We stayed 2 nights. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy. A great base for a visit to Amsterdam. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Didn’t get breakfast but a good price for 5 euros. Load of nice bars and restaurants in the area

Brilliantly located small hotel

I stayed at the hotel for four days and three nights, with two more people and the experience was spectacular. The room was very cozy and very clean. It contained three individual beds (two of them together), a table with three chairs, tables with lights, a bathroom with everything (duch, washcloths, water, hot water...) and finally a wardrobe. It had a heater that you could adjust, a large window and in the reception they provided us with a hair dryer in addition to clean towels every morning. Finally, the service was excellent, we were treated great. It is also worth noting that there was a very close metro stop, with which, in addition to the hotel, at the end of the journey back to the hotel, you can take a bus to the central station.

An ideal stay for the whole family.

I'd the misfortune of booking this Hotel in peak summer. It's a travesty for a Hotel. Lobby is closed by 7 PM so you pick up keys from a bar next door. Then in Peak Summer heat, the owner doesn't have the common sense to put a table fan inside the room for his guests.  I'd stay away from this DORM even if it's the last room available in AMS.

We stayed at the Prinsenhof in December.
The service we received from the moment we entered the hotel was outstanding.
We arrived early which wasn’t a problem .
We were told our room would be ready in 30 mins ,this was perfect we went for a coffee ,came back  and our bags  had been taken into the room .We felt relaxed and looked after throughout our stay .The ambiance ,rooms ,breakfast were all wonderful.The team at the prinsenhof really made the difference to our holiday.Everyone we came into contact with reception,breakfast,housekeeping all were welcoming,friendly and courteous.Thankyou we were a mother and daughter who just wanted to spend some time together and you helped make that time extra special.

Lots of steep stairs - but that is the nature of the building.
Liked the luggage hook in the stairwell.
Nice bar next door.
Walk down the main street (or catch a tram) to get the the centre of Amsterdam.

Great little hotel by canal in quiet area of Amstersam

The hotel are located in walking distance to more or less everything in Amsterdam. Nice rooms, good breakfast where calm jazz is being played, and polite and helpfull manager. Great value and several restaurants nearby.

Great location and good service

Our stay in Prinsenhoff was excellent. The room was super comfortable and large, bright. We clean it daily, and change the towels if you want. We have a table, chairs, vases, etc. In addition there is a bathroom outside the room that is common, which in our case we were 4 people, made it very easy for us. The location is very good, below has a bar/brewery, stands in front of a canal and close to important and central points. We walked everywhere. The breakfast is complete and well served, as well as cheap. Cuesta 5 buffet (anywhere for less than 10€ no breakfasts and less unlimited). The attention was always good, always SONIA of the best of Amsterdam!! A genius, incredible people. There was a reception, a recommendation that we leave the airport and we always make sure that we get a good taxi to the Prinsen Hotel if we want to make it easy for us!

An excellent hotel!

Just what I was looking for. Hotel located in area prinsengracht very well connected to the central station by tram no. 4 stopped under the hotel. However, you can move freely on foot. You can easily reach the central area in just 15 minutes without necessarily using public transport. Our room located on the 3rd floor is essential and very clean with private bathroom in the room. Note of credit for the hospitality and availability of the operator ready to meet any need. Very nice to keep our luggage until the afternoon having us the return flight in the evening. Valid breakfast with a few extra €5 per person with a good choice of both sweet and salt. I would have added perhaps Amsterdam croissant. In conclusion the excellent quality price ratio considering the standard advice without any doubt.

Great Location., next to Tram stop. Very warm welcome from Sonia and Husband. Room was great as was shower. Very Clean. Lots of nice bars and restaurants close by. Recommended and would definitely stay again.
