Our Little Piece of Heaven

Very nice host who provides incredible customer service.
The clean rooms are nicely decorated and have very comfortable beds. 
Just a few steps away from the main square whilst you stay in quietness in the rooms and backyard .

Cosy B&B at top location

Maasmechelen. On the edge of the Highlands National Park, a real pearl to visit in any season on foot, by bike, by skating, close to 3 borders, a family designs its b&b in an annex to the family home near a biological swimming pool.

A hidden pearl

A lovely guesthouse in the perfect location for the Virthof where the concert was held. Elise was a perfect host and the rooms were nice with wifi and UK TV.
There was a full breakfast every morning and nothing was too much effort.

Lovely little garden to sit in when not wandering in the beautiful town.

Andre Rieu concert

Just back from De Stadswal had a great time all the reviews are spot on, clean comfortable with a fantastic host.
Elise is wonderful we were well looked after nothing was to much trouble for her breakfast is great the choice is fantastic.

Wonderful

I stayed at this lovely guesthouse during the time I had to work long hours at the annual TEFAF Art Fair in Maastricht.. and let me just say: It was heaven on earth. Facing a beautiful garden with a view on the old city wall this place is a beaken of peace and quiet, even though it's smack in the middle of the city centre (one minute walk to the Vrijthof). The rooms are súper clean and well organized. But the absolute cherry on top of the pie is by far the amazing hostess. She is the personification of hospitality: spoiling you to the teeth and making you feel right at home. On top of that she bakes thé most delicious pancakes in the world for breakfast. If you are looking for a place to completely unwind and at the same time not miss out on the buzz of the city life, this is the place for you. Other hotels can learn a few things from this level of hospitality!

Getting spoiled at Guesthouse De Stadswal

The room looked clean and comfortable, although somewhat cold. We were given a room with a kitchen and we looked great so that we didn't have to eat and dine out all the time. From the train station it takes about 10 minutes straight to the line or so. The perfect location for what we wanted was to visit the Christmas market. The first night was very noisy although the person who attended us during the stay assured me that it was something punctual. It is true that the rest of the nights there was no night music. Surely if I visited this city again this city chose the same accommodation, as I said, especially for its location.

Centric is central.

The rooms at the back of the building guarantee a very pleasant peace of mind. Everything is very clean. It's not big, but it's in a typical house with, as it should be, a very narrow and steep staircase... charming yet. And the hostess is super attentive, gives advice in mixed French and English (we get there!). impeccable cleanliness. Very rich and delicious lunch.

Superb and cost effective guest house right in the center of Maastricht. Super refurbished and very well taken care off, clean and neat. Great view to inner garden. Really very warm, welcoming and accommodating hosts.

I'd like to come back: the host is very kind, breakfast is prepared personally, a lot of performance for the price, quiet rooms, from which you can see the backyard, no street noise, for that old city wall, church clock is audible. Everything important is walking around the corner. Steep and narrow stairs to the bedrooms.
