When booking ask for a river view room. fantastic view along the river. The rooms are large, centrally heated and well appointed.We arrived early in the morning and staff were there to welcome us.The dining is good for both breakfast and dinner, at night.

We came to this hotel for breakfast but it was pretty uninspiring. The food was pretty Luke warm and scrambled eggs cut into cubes is not very enticing.
The best on offer was the pancakes and even these were fairly average.

Uninspiring breakfast

Stayed there for 2 nights, 2 different rooms. More like 1 bedroom apartment than hostel. Has everything necessary for a short stay. Bedsheets had holes in them and weren't long enough to cover the bed. The flooring had holes in it. Bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Placement is superb and staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is one of the dirties and unwelcoming hostels I tried - and that says a lot.
The cleanliness was similar to hostels I've visited in Himalaya where a vaccum cleaner is non-existent. At Irkutsk hostel it was obvious (both in the hallways and the apartment itself) that they simply hadn't tried.

The service was typical Russian, but since it is in Russia I won't hold it against them.

The room itself was spacious, but the interior was very worn down, and it was crawling with unknown insects in the bathroom, and there was hair everywhere. 

I won't recommend it and I definitely won't be coming back ever. 

Worst hostel I ever tried

This hostel offers both dormitory beds and small apartments. The apartment has 2 bedrooms: one bedroom and a living-kitchen. Comfortable, with a kitchen equipped (oven, microwave, refrigerator), + a washing machine. Beautiful city views from the top floor. Good Wifi connection throughout the apartment.

She spent a little money, bought her own food, cooked herself, slept well, quietly, quietly, the interior finally leaves the best to be desired... but the price and quality match.

Budget hostel

We've taken apartments in this hotel - one room and a hall, it's the same kitchen. There's a refrigerator, a teacup, a plate. It's conveniently located, all the main attractions are within 10 minutes walking distance.

Everything you need

Of course, running forward, I can anticipate the questions, and what you wanted from the hostel and for that kind of money. However, I think that the human attitude was not abolished, but to settle people for 1800 a day in the attic and not at all. But everything is fine. Plus: - Cheap. Two-bedroom a day for the aforementioned 1800 almost in the center of the city. All in walking availability, from the airport taxi for 10 minutes for 200 rubles. - We arrived early in the morning, we were conveniently counted not full days, but an early entry for 1000 rubles. - Here there is a kitchen. - Maybe you need to sleep at the same time. - Here's the minutes. - There's a minute.

This is a hostel, baby)))

It's in a good location, it's close to the SPAR, 15 minutes walk to the bus station, the staff is friendly, the wifi is good, the mini-kitchen has everything you need, the noise is bad, you can hear the neighbors in the hallway, you can hear the noise in the sewer pipes.

A good hostel for your money.

Beautiful location in the historic center of Irkutsk. Fully equipped for comfortable living apartments. There is a shop nearby where you can buy everything you need. The road from the airport by car takes no more than 15 minutes. Responsive staff. There is no lift and it is not very convenient to climb to the 5th floor with heavy suitcases. In one of the rooms comes a shower cabin.
