We stayed at the hotel on October 24, 2021, and were supposed to stay for three days, but due to hotel conditions we were forced to leave the hotel the very next morning and go to another.  Reasons for leaving the hotel: There is no isolation between the rooms, so you can hear the TV from the next one very clearly.  If you want to go to bed earlier like we, for example, because we came from a long trip, it is impossible due to the noise of the TV from the next room until almost midnight. I informed the reception to do something or give us another room but I got the answer that I can't do anything  do about it.  When we got to the room I noticed that the door was just right and didn't fit the best when it was locked (digital card). In the morning when I woke up I found the door of our room wide open, it was a big stress for me and I immediately checked that  Is everything in the room because we had very valuable and important things with us.  The internet was losing connection in the room (2nd floor) and I had to reconnect all the time.  I took a shower when my wife went to take a shower, there was no hot water, which they explained some problem with something tomorrow morning.  All the pictures on the hotel room show sofas in the rooms and doors from the terrace and I booked a room and a room that costs more according to the information I got over the phone because it is new, we got a room that has two small windows as  in the basement and without any sofa or chair in the room, when I asked about this problem and that I did not get the room as I saw in the pictures, I received information that such rooms are not available and can not be replaced.  When I asked that it seemed to me that the hotel seemed to be further from the center as it says on the hotel page (3 km) I received the information that it is 5 km from the center of Ptuj.  The next morning I asked if maybe the hotel owner was there, I got the information that he was not, so I complained to the person who was there at the reception (Son of the hotel owner) and that we had to change the hotel.  After which I asked for an overnight stay bill and paid, I did not receive any reduction in the bill.

Very disappointed

Every year we come home from Croatia and we've never been disappointed. Good cuisine, unfortunately the menu is in Slovenian, but Google Translate does it for us.

Very good cuisine at a fair price

In this restaurant we had lunch on the way to Zadar. We had pre-ordered the food, so everything went quickly. The portions were very large and good. But also the whole ambiance of this hotel restaurant was outstanding, with praise to be given to the staff.

It's an excellent restaurant.

I have a 3-star hotel. Some rooms to see in everything except the TV in my room which was new!! Free Wi-Fi.

Better the kitchen!!

We were given a room in the basement, with no wifi, and a garbage can all over the hotel.Besides breakfast is very poor.Nothing recommended.We tried to change the room and were offered a room without bathroom for the same price.

We are a couple who have just arrived at this hotel and are not happy We are a couple who are traveling without having any previously recognised hotel...we are moving on the go. So what we value most when choosing a hotel is that it offers wifi. And this one offers it. When we get to check in, the guy at the reception tells us that there is only one room left in the basement...here we start to look rarely...hopefully, in worse places we have slept! Nothing is allowed to enter the room, but if I have wifi and they confirm my suspicions...NOTHING..not even a little bit.....we decided to go to the reception and the guy said that if we want to share a room but with another bathroom...okay, it may be an option...I wonder if the price is the same...I wonder if this is something that says that we can enjoy this night, or if we can pay for the same services...I hope that we will not have to pay for the same services...I hope that tomorrow we will have the same...I hope that we will not have to pay for the same services...I hope that we will not have to share

In Autumn 2014 and later we had few meetings at Hotel Roškar . It is very nice and quiet environment , supportive staff . Location is easily accessible , at the main road .
Recommended for all who wish to later visit museums at Poetovio /Ptuj city or Spa center . .

Nice environemnet for meetings

The hotel is located about 4 km from the center of Ptuj, medium-sized, it looks like it was built in the 1970s and had more luxurious ambitions at the time. The reception is presided over in a discontinuous manner, the staff is kind but not very professional, but the biggest defect is that no one spoke English (only German and Hungarian), which for a hotel today is rather amazing.
