Restaurant: fantastic cuisine, attentive and excellent service, great environment, away from the mainstream, surrounded by vineyards. Vineyard: great architecture, beautifully embedded in the landscape, good wine selection, interesting wine tasting. Katharina, the soul of the winery has everything very well handled and is particularly friendly and hospitable.

A wonderful atmosphere at the restaurant, at the winery.

The accommodation is in old winery house. Steep stairs lead upstairs to 2 apartments with a stunning view on surrounding wineries. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious with small bathroom. We had small kitchen hidden in the closet with all needed accessories to prepare a meal. But why bother if you have excellent restaurant 200 m away?

It was just a perfect one-night stay:
- Sat hike to "Skala" above Slovenske Konjice
- afternoon in Zrece wellness
- fantastic dinner and service at Zlati Gric restaurant 
- really good sleep at Zlati Gric apartment; beautiful morning views! 
- Sun morning "home-like" breakfast and excellent coffee again at Zlati Gric
- another few hours swim in Zrece

Peaceful, romantic, excellent cuisine.

I visited Zlati Grič in October 2017. 

The mansion is situated on top of a hill right in the middle of the Zlati Grič vineyards, and the embedded 9-hole golf course. The mansion hosts rooms on both levels. The room is very spacious and nicely decorated with very stylishly furniture. Best of all is the spectacular view over the hills and vineyards! 

Do by all means book a table for dinner in the nearby restaurant only approx.. 150 meters away (where there is also the check-in/check-out). For dinner, choose a 6-course menu with corresponding wines – A truly mouth-watering experience of high-end cuisine, extremely reasonably priced. 

If you want to visit the Zlati Grič wine-cellars make sure to check the cellar’s opening hours, especially over the week-ends

Unique Mansion in the middle of the wineyard!

The house is in the middle of a vineyard, with views of row after row of grapes on golden leafed vines, church spires and snow topped mountains. Our apartment on the ground floor included a small, cosy bedroom, and a well appointed sitting cum dining room with a kitchenette. Clean and cosy. There's a lovely little restaurant down the road. Our friendly host, Matej, gave us schnapps on the house. And, the hotel gives guests a parting gift of a huge bottle of sparkling wine. Felt so welcome!

Tranquility and comfort

Felt like heaven. Amaizing landscape, excellent food. We were there for only one night passing by, we got a large apartment equiped with everything. The views of the winery were nice and in the restaurant the food was better than everywhere. We got fine natural meals with excellent taste, everything was delicious. Good value for money. Wonderful surprise. The only mising thing, in my oppinion was some ammenities for kids, a slide and a bouncer would have been good to have , as for example a family with small kids to stay longer there. We will go back there if not for a week at least for a day.

Amaizing

On 07/12/2015, after visiting the Certosa di Zice (a green oasis of peace, where the spirit of the centuries lives and tells) we ate well in this restaurant, although it was Slovenian cuisine.

Christmas atmospheres 2015 with the Association Bel Paese.

The winery is located on a hill in the vineyards of Zlati Gric. The location of the house is unique, there are only three apartments in the house, 2 of which are very large with 2 rooms. All are very beautifully equipped, very bright, with a great view. It is highly recommended to eat in the associated restaurant. Service is excellent and very friendly. A must is a trip to the nearby maple of Seitz - a special place.

A lovely little house perched on top of a lost hill in the middle of vineyards, surrounded by a beautiful landscape, a comfortable, spacious, clean room, equipped with a small kitchen, the restaurant that manages the guest rooms on two steps, with lovely staff and a superb local cuisine.
