Since our second stay in 2016 Daniel has become semi-retired and, alas, does not provide dinners.  (You can walk along the road a bit to find a great local restaurant.) But, as compensation, the breakfasts are out of this world - the best I have ever eaten!! And the warm welcome from Daniel and Lucia was great - they are like old friends to us now. We had the large room with balcony and fabulous views over the valley to the reservoir. The bed linen is of the highest quality as is the whole ambience of this wonderful hotel.  They are a lovely couple who have created a wonderful hotel and we must find a way to return!!

This place was heaven. A spectacular old stone building with a great setting a few k from Ainsa. Their breakfasts were indescribably good, interesting, fresh and varied - we just decided to eat everything and forego lunch! Lovely change from the usual buffet breakfast (unless you are fussy - we were happy to eat what we got here!). Tragically the evening meal was only available one of our 3 evenings, or we would have eaten there each night. Very high quality and interesting food. Lovely people running the place. Spacious room. 

Delicious food, fabulous setting

We live in Cuenca and we are dedicated to this, which is why we know the effort, work and dedication that comes with offering something unique to your guests. Lucia and Daniel do it with note, taking care of the details and offering a cozy and charming accommodation. Special... Special mention of breakfast!!! Better to contact you, invite you to discover them. Nothing more than a stunning and cold buffet. It is a show of sensitivity and dedication that surprises you every day, both with the content and with the continent. The house is very well located in a quiet enclave with spectacular views. A good place to relax and let yourself be mimicked. And here is the spoiler ;) A discovery and a pleasure!

We stayed with Daniel and Lucia as part of a walking holiday in Aragon and after three testing days of hiking and tiny village hotels we felt like we had entered an oasis of calm and tranquility.  This was coupled with a level of detail and desire to deliver the most wonderful food possible, Daniel said he cooked for him and what he loved and you could see that in every aspect from the crazy cutlery to the beautiful table settings.

If you love breakfast and appreciate the finer things in life then we recommend staying here, even the cake box was covered in leaves!

We were really lucky to dine with them as part of the package and both nights dinner was full of creativity and love, Daniel even made us a lovely packed lunch for our walk the day after.

We cannot thank you enough for making our stay with you so special.

HIghlight of Our Holiday

An exceptional place for many reasons: everything in the posada is thought up to the last detail; the quiet and tranquil atmosphere of the place is lived in the Posada, always with background music, in harmony with Nature; the breakfasts are amazing, original, impressive... And although there is no restaurant, you can enjoy some dinners of the 10th... elaborate vegetable creams that are a delight, with a fusion of amazing flavors, salads, cheeses and a yogurt cream with honey, which I recommend. Daniel, is a good host and Lucía, although we treat her little, too.

A unique site, an unforgettable experience

I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels and Posada Al Vent was one of the most unique and beautiful experiences I’ve ever had.  If you appreciate antiques, beauty and art, this renovated medieval hotel is the place for you.  The place is pristine, with attention to every detail. . . . The art everywhere, the antique furniture, the lightly scented candles and the high end upgrades from the renovation makes this an enchanting, magical room.  We stayed in a junior terrace room that had a small terrace with a stunning view and was a wonderful place to relax while listening to the birds and enjoying the breeze.  ABSOLUTELY have dinner if you can at the hotel - Daniel is an amazing chef and it’s so reasonably priced.  His cooking rivals the best restaurants I’ve been to in my hometown of San Francisco.  The quality of the ingredients and the flavors were out of this world and the presentation of the food was artistic down to the beautiful cutlery and plate sets I was envying.  Also get nearby restaurant recommendations from Daniel, you cannot go wrong.  This is a wonderful place if you want to visit small quaint towns and do some hiking at Monte Perdido.  We stayed at a Paradores in Biesla which had the convenience of being close to some hiking trails but had I known better, I would’ve stayed longer at Posada Al Vent.  It really is that magical!

One of the most unique and beautiful hotel experiences I’ve ever had

When you arrive at the Posada Al Vent, you can't even imagine the experience you will have with my wife. Daniel and his wife welcome you and offer you an excellent service. They are concerned about your comfort. Various corners and stages move you to the Medievo. We had the Birge room (the bishop's room) You listen to the silence like nowhere else. Don't worry about ordering breakfast. You will experience a gastronomic surprise every morning. The technology, the latest, is perfectly concealed. Every corner says something, because it is carefully cared for to the smallest detail, almost with passion. We have customers from all over the world who, like us, have discovered this wonder with highly recommended medieval flavor.

A pleasant surprise.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and because we didn't know how amazing it was, we would have stayed longer. We'll definitely repeat. The accommodation is beautiful and with all kinds of details. I have to highlight the cleanliness, I travel a lot and it's the cleanest place I've ever stayed, unpolluted. And then yes, breakfast and dinner, hallucinating! The owner is the cook and he has a lot of passion for cooking and that's definitely noticeable in his dishes.

The hotel is beautiful, the room is very well decorated and very clean, the breakfasts very good and with a beautiful presentation.

Ever since you entered the door of this lovely mansion, you have sensed the taste for the details and the charm that will accompany you throughout the stay. Our room was very large, quiet and decorated with exquisite taste. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom with everything necessary and even the amenities of premium brands. The common rooms are very cozy and invite you to relax or have an infusion before you go to bed. Both at breakfast and dinner you have to let yourself be surprised by the kitchen of Daniel, who besides being a perfect anfitrión is also a great chef. First-class products and presentation and worthy of the best accredited restaurants.
