Rooms size were OK for this kind of hotel, but blankets or matresses were a bit smelly, although bed sheets seemed clean. Room space was also clean. Matresses didn't gave that good sleeping confort, as some kind of plastic protection was under the bed linen.
WiFi was free and worked OK inside the room. Bathroom was spacious, clean and didn't have any maintenance problems; everything was in perfect working conditions.
Reception/check-in closes at 11 PM, thus you have to carry the keys all day long with you (and the key-ring is quite big ...). The hostal is located at the city exit, but the city center is still at a walkable distance. Car parking in the street is free and there are many free places.

Cheap place, standard rooms for the price

It's very convenient to get to the centre on foot. It's not convenient if you're walking down the road to Santiago because you have to walk through the whole city on foot as it's located on the opposite side of the road from Leon.

Yes, as a hostel it is good. Large room with three beds, amenities, friendly staff, easy parking around...but, with deficiencies that I suppose will be over the years. A wall lamp next to one of the beds, was totally rotated, and the solution was to turn it against the wall; it worked but without the crystal that protected it, which seemed dangerous to us if there were children. The shower had a broken piece, and a cafeteria; it was also totally attached to the shower cupboard. Otherwise, it looked pretty good for one night, as was our case. Also: it looked like the room Nos. 70s. According to me, there were three beds, and that was the only one that remained free in all of Astor.

Well, to be a hostel.

I stayed at this hotel just for work, it's a proper hotel, with enough amenities to be a small hotel, the room was somewhat small and didn't have air conditioning, which I would have appreciated. It had a ventilator that didn't give much air so the heat was intense. The bathroom was bathroom-ready and clean.

For one night.

Very hot, very hot, badly built room, towel with a coffee maker that smelled like that, kind treatment of staff at all times, and in sum on very hot days, they should stop giving any room.

The hostel left us with a very good impression, the whole room well organized, highlighted and highly appreciated the cleanliness, cleanliness and cleanliness of the room, as well as having accessories that can be compared to a hotel.

Good impression, clean and comfortable.

Despite its age, they have it very clean and well preserved. For its price it is very good and you will hardly find a Hostel with that quality and that price. The breakfast is very good for 5 euros a few toast of bread with tomato and oil, plenty of coffee and freshly made natural juice. The staff are very friendly and have a motorcycle garage which is appreciated.

Normall

The shower had leaks. The cistern too. In the middle of the night you have to get up to stop the drip...tic-toc-tic-toc...don't stop sleeping. The worst thing is that when you get up you find three cockroaches in the shower tray running a solution: expel them through the drain. This is communicated in Reception, take note to seal I don't know what... and give the impression of not being outdoors.

A lamentable service.

The food was very good, you have all the amenities for a person who is going to make the road offer you free bicycle parking, it is very close to the road and phenomenal to get out the next day.

Perfect for being a hostel.

Looking at the site, there was no surprise, nothing exceptional, but nothing wrong, the room is not very big but the bathroom is. Clean, 500 meters from the cathedral, convenient to take the walk, if you want you can have dinner but the menu costs 2 euros more than the center, we only had an aperitif, the cheese was good.
