The structure is well maintained and characteristic. The bathroom is clean and comfortable. There is space for bicycles and so much kindness and kindness from Dori!

It's a very pleasant stay.

La Veleta was the beginning of our bike journey from Astorga, and we couldn't have started better. Well located, very comfortable accommodation and good quality/price ratio. But above all I want to congratulate Dori, our hostess. She does everything possible to make you feel good. Thank you Dori, and especially for getting us a table in the restaurant.

The best of the area

Fuimos 4, the rooms were great, clean and tidy, the owner is a lover, our brilliant treatment from beginning to end of the stay, the breakfast that sets its goodisimos, quality.

The house is very pretty although with some other wires...very noisy room along the main road that sounds like they are inside...but the best thing about the house is that the owner is continuously in it, even though she has her own house, but makes a living in it, so the rest, the privacy of the client, leaves much to be desired, since if you want to be in the dining room, she monopolizes the control of the TV, and what's worse, she gets into the conversations, or sits down to dinner in front of the customers, and the little dog she has, keeps her inside and barks very often....and best of all, there are no doors in the house, so if you want to get there, you're waiting and putting on top of it, and you're better off staying in the kitchen, and what's worse, she gets into the conversations, or she gets in front of the customers, and the little dog she has, she keeps it and barks very often....and best of all, there are no doors in the house, so if you want to get there, you're better off, and you'

Rural house with continuous occupancy

It was the break before the first stage of our new adventure on the Camino and without any problems: a cozy, large and clean house. Personal accordion. Good recommendation for dinner (a cooked margarato before a hike of these is a bold exercise but was very rich) and breakfast with the essential.

The first stage

If you want your holidays to be perfect, La Veleta is your ideal place. La Veleta is a very warm and clean place. Inside, we can meet with multiple antiques from the rural world, which makes it an unforgettable experience. As for the rooms, it is cozy, spacious and clean. It has everything necessary like a large closet, TV, etc. The bathroom houses everything essential for personal hygiene such as toilet paper, towels, shower gel and jabs. The breakfast is very complete and homemade: coffee or coffee, various bakeries, toast that can be untied with butter or mermaid and, finally, natural treatments. It has been very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very nice.

We stayed with my parents and I when we went to Galicia, so we left the trip to make it more comfortable. This hotel is very cozy and the treatment of its fabulous owner is very nice. We feel at home with her. We rented two rooms. Each has its own bathroom and everything is unpolluted. The reception area is very cozy with many antiques from the rural world. Despite being next to the road there is no noise. Hotel totally recommended.

Tal dueña tal hotel

This beautiful bed and breakfast deserves a special mention. Located in the village of Murias de Rechivaldo also very characteristic with a small church a few meters from the structure, it offers really cockle rooms that remain in the memories. We have happened to the violet and of course the theme of color is respected in the furnishings. Everything very orderly and in perfect harmony. The lady who manages is very sweet and attentive to her clientele, roses and fresh flowers abound throughout the house and in the morning for breakfast you serve her homemade magdalenas with homemade cheese marmalade.

Feeling at home with friends

We spent one night here while walking the Camino and it was great. We spent the morning exploring Astorga then walked the few kms out to Rechivaldo. The owner of this B&B is very gracious and made us feel perfectly at home. She even got up early and had breakfast for us at 6:30 am so we could get an early start before it got too hot. Our room was spotlessly clean, cozy, with classic details, comfortable beds, and a lovely balcony. We were on the side nearest the busy road but it was very quiet at night. Definitely a good option if you want to be near Astorga but have all the benefits of a small charming village. Our hostess recommended a nearby restaurant that served food all day, including a €10 pilgrim menu. 

Wonderful!

I was stranded here on June 10, 2019, with leg pain. It turned out that my knee and my femur were inflamed and I had to stay here for three nights. It's incredible how friendly, helpful and family friendly the lady from the hotel is. She took me to the hospital and the pharmacy. She cooked for me. An angel from a human being. I met many amazing people on the road, but she is by far the most lovable person I've ever met.
