Casa Flor is a little off the Camino but close by. It consists of a compound with a central building that houses the rooms and a separate building with the dining room. The hosts spoke good English which made things much easier for me and were interactive and helpful. My private room had twin beds and a reasonable sized en suite bathroom. The bathroom was beautifully decorated with blue tiling and had a shower over a tub which is always so much nicer than the usual small enclosure. The bedroom was painted a rather startling bright yellow colour but clean and neat. The wifi needed a bit of fiddling about but once connected was strong and stable. 

I expect that the outside garden area would be lovely in hot weather but it was too cool during my stay to sit outdoors. Fortunately, the bedroom heating was controlled by an individual thermostat and was excellent, heating up quickly and easily warming the whole room.

I had the set menu dinner which was substantial and well priced. 

Casa Flor appeared take coronavirus hygiene very seriously, only filling 50% of the rooms and mandating masks for which they are to be commended. I would be very happy to stay there again.

Lovely Hosts

I think it's one of the few negative criticisms I realize, but I really deserve it, I'd appreciated not doing it, but I think it can help anyone who goes to the powder keg and doesn't find a reservation in any of the other restaurants that eat there, that if you call it late, you'll be almost impossible to find a place except here... The only nice thing about the place is the girl who welcomes you and treats you like a hard worker, but I don't think it's necessary if I say it's nice to help her family... I think I've been able to tell you this, but I'm telling you my experience. We decided to stop calling the locals that the trip was a good one and we didn't want to stop in this restaurant, and we decided that we didn't want to stop in this place because we didn't want to eat the water, we didn't want to go in this place, we didn't want to go in this place, we wanted to get in the wine keg, we wanted to get in the water keg, we just likewise we got a light note... Impressible, unpleasant and a liar!

Kiko, the owner and waiter, is always attentive to the customers, smiling, very friendly. The food, unbeatable. We order a cooking spaghetti. We put it to go open the mouth with a few soft-tasting ears. Then a sweet compango y tomato, the garbanzos with perfect berza, the good soup, a dessert of some natillas to choose from with or without cinnamon, a couple of bottles with tools to serve us what we have, along with some ice cream candies, pucher coffee if you want it and everything for 23€/person.

Exquisite food and very good treatment.

We ate together as a family the site is beautiful and cozy.the food is very good and abundant impossible to finish everything.al finish coffee de puchero candy-sweetened and bottles to serve yourself the liqueurs.the excellent treatment personally attends the owner.

The best is impossible.

Very rich food, good treatment, a pleasant and welcoming location, a very attentive owner, excellent cooking and adequate quantity, a coffee potato and homemade desserts, to spend a great family day, I recommend.

Market of the day.

We went with family and friends on recommendation, and the truth that the atmosphere at the restaurant was super cozy, even with the other tables. In short, perfect not only for the food, which is noted made on a slow fire (the meat is dissolved in the mouth) but also for the local and its owner who personally attended to you.

A ACOGEDOR is an advocate.

We stopped here on the Camino and treated ourselves to the rural hotel before tackling the Sierra des Acares. The twin room was lovely and we had an excellent peregrino meal in the restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. 

A little oasis. 

We almost made a mistake and took another hostel, because the hostel Casa Flor was at the entrance to the village. A friendly host warmly welcomed us so that we could immediately feel welcome and safe in the beautiful room. The food thereafter was tasty and abundant, the wine included in the price rounded the meal and ensured a wonderful conclusion of a beautiful pilgrimage day.

On the way to Santiao Luogo charming. the room with a very colorful and clean private bathroom welcomed us and put us in a good mood. outside a small garden that should be a little more neat, allows you to relax.

Kindness and Cleanliness

We booked at Casa Flor on our way back from Santiago de Compostela without knowing anything about it. We were greeted by the owner, Kilo, a very kind boy who made us feel comfortable. The triple room was spacious and very clean, with a bathroom in the room as clean and spacious. The furnishings are of a rural type and are very well tuned to the outdoor environment.
