We had booked for 3 nights but an obstacle in the way - fallen tree, injured passengers, information given in the national media) on the evening of 17 August prevented us from taking the train scheduled for Perpignan and Barcelona Sants. I informed Hostel Duo by transferring the SNCF email from the time it was received at 6:30 p.m.

Excellent price ratio. I loved it. The beds are comfortable. Kitchen, bathrooms. Patio. Very nice rooms. Close to the ramps. diagonal metro. Line 3 that serves almost all the ramps and very good matches.

The rooms are large, air-conditioned, common spaces very cozy and spacious, the staff very kind, plus it's right on the diagonal blue metro stop. Closets with keys, sheets and clean towels, there were also dryers and a car for you and coffee in self-service sacks.

I spent 4 days at the hostel duo, 3 out of 4 without wifi (completely). the bathrooms were dirty and poorly maintained, the room had a broken door with continuous sliding doors and the staff was not very helpful.

Not recommended

At the beginning of September I booked a four-bedroom for the first of October. When you arrive at the hostel, we are told that we will have slept in an eight-bedroom for women, because since the first of October, for structural reasons, the four-bedroom is no longer available. Then the guy who hosted us suggests that we talk to the manager the next day. When I explain the situation to the manager, not only does it not meet us in any way, but it is also very rude and hypocritical. We are also told that he doesn't understand our problem because last night we slept in only three rooms in that room. It's a shame that in the end in that room we were in eight!

Frigate and super rude staff!

Well located near the city centre, hotel for a night out in Barcelona, simple, noisy room, bathroom on the ground floor but very clean and well equipped. nice, young team, free and functional wifi. Many shops nearby.

Correct for the price

Very well located hostel, friendly staff. Room with window overlooking the air, but superb terrace. Close to Catalunya Square. The beds are very good. There is also a small common kitchen

Youth hostel close to the centre and very clean

This hotel is perfect for those who have the leaf door not very thick for a relatively correct quality/price ratio. At first glance, the hotel is a little scary from the outside and then you wonder but where did we fall? The hotel is at 220 and there is no indication that we are in the right place, however looking at the interphone you will see a button with the word 'DUO' it is right there and you have arrived. The reception is friendly, the rooms are correct. Know that the showers, toilets, living room, kitchen are common PARTS!!!! In France it is a good big city and no headway. Apartment by the way!

It is strategically perfect, two steps from the Diagonal metro station. The bathrooms are a bit dirty (probably due to the fact that they are in common) and the quality of sleep is mediocre. The latter, in particular, is due to the crumbling parquet of the corridor and the absence of double windows in the windows.

Excellent position, a little less service.

I stayed two nights in this hostel and I found myself quite well. Quiet, in an exceptional position (20 meters from the Metro diagonal) and a few steps from the Passeig de Gracia. There are rooms for only women and non-smokers. The staff is very kind and they speak English well. There is a computer to navigate the internet and a common room with comfortable sofas. I think the bathrooms would be renovated but I recommend they were clean enough. I especially recommend it to single travelers.
