We got a call three days after we left the hotel accusing us of carrying a towel! Shameful...and the terrible, terrible call...and the soap we carried...very unpleasant and unprofessional everything...without a doubt the worst experiences I've had with a hotel...

Bring home the towels.

We were accused of using the bed and not touching it. Never again. Gents za. Those who work there are the worst we've ever found in an accommodation and those we've traveled to my countries and places. No place as cheap as this is worth it at all.

The worst.

Nice hotel and modern room for our Camino Frances. We are two friends who decided to share a room. Much to our surprise, the shower is in the room facing the bed with glass doors! You’d better not be modest if you want to share a room! Nice dinner and breakfast in the morning.

Lovely place, sharing a room something to think about

Very good quality price ratio, no doubt, good service and very correct room at a reasonable price, good service attentive to your needs, very good base of operations to visit the medullae and all this area.

A very good option.

The friendly, customer focused host and his sister were lovely. We’d love to come back after the Camino. The room under the roof was large with screens to keep it dark for sleeping. The meals were typical regional style and delicious 

Lovely accommodation and excellent food 

The hostel is very well located in an old building, but the rooms are renovated, clean and comfortable and have a private bathroom. What I stayed was a small balcony facing the street. It has a bar/restaurant attached to the hostel that offers meals and breakfast.

The Way of Santiago

Ideal as a starting point to get to know El Bierzo and Los Ancares. In the very center of Cacabelos. In the middle of the Camino de Santiago. Precious installation. Very comfortable rooms. Cafeteria on the ground floor. Restaurant on the 1st floor. Apartments on the 2nd floor. A luxury for a very reasonable price. Care and services of first order. All very friendly young people. The best we have known.

Encantador hallazgo

We truly enjoyed our night at this hotel. We stayed here during our walk on the camino. The staff were super nice and helpful. The restaurant was closed on the Monday night but the next morning they opened up early to serve us breakfast. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the rooftop window that we kept open all night.

Beautiful and quiet

Located in the Plaza Mayor de Cacabelos, el Hostal del Siglo XIX (two stars) exceeds the expectations of an establishment of these characteristics and others of a higher category: spacious, comfortable, extremely neat and clean rooms and in perfect condition.

Excellent option option 

Excellent location in the center of town. Very well preserved building. Clean, very friendly staff, very professional, make you feel loved. Buhardilla-shaped room in the corner of the building, overlooking the church and the mountains. From the bed, through a skylight, which opens electrically, we can see the bell tower. It has a large tribune on its front which are the balconies of other rooms. In the basement is the bar that complements our stay. Very complete breakfast (even chocolate with churros!). No care in quantity, quality, or kindness. At night drinks. On the first floor we have a very cozy living room in which drinks are served. We are like at home.
