A marvel is always a city. We find it in the full celebrations of the medieval marketplace and the atmosphere was overwhelming and beautiful. You get into the situation, with characters dressed as if they belonged to the Middle Ages, food stalls, forged metal res, vendors of all kinds, gladiators, princesses, some magician... A lot of people, especially at night.

El casco antico de Cáceres is a real journey into the past if you have the opportunity to see it you should not miss it, its main square both day and night where you can see the star arc, the grass tower and the town hall and the bujaco tower, all can be visited free of charge except the last one, the plaza de San Mateo, the tower of storks next to the provincial museum where you can visit an aljibe, the cathedral, the episcopal palace, and so many other things you can see and recommend comfortable shoes and a desire to dance, no defrauded saldres.

Historical charm.

A very beautiful city. The old part where you visit the square you can see all the beauty from it. There is much to see. It is worth noting that in many places they charge tickets ranging from one to three euros...little thing. But you will marvel at it. You have enough to walk with which I recommend going comfortably. There is a street full of shops where there are good restaurants to eat.

Precious everything.

Caceres is a city to get lost in its streets and enjoy its Gothic and Renaissance monuments, Moorish walls, fortified palaces and cobbled streets.

 Couple travel.

Cáceres is the capital city of Cáceres province and, it is an unknown city for many, however, 
it is well worth to spend a couple of days in it, to know the history, try the amazing Ibéricos products and the wonderful cheeses and a refreshing visit to the contemporary art museum Helga de Alvear. Extremadura on the whole deserves a visit. The country side it is a Jewel.

Medieval Cáceres

Very good information from Ana and we enjoyed a monumental morning in the old town of Cáceres.The next day we went to Trujillo where we enjoyed the Alcazaba or castle and its grand Plaza Mayor.

Caesarean section is fundamental.

Caceres is a world heritage site, history within reach, exceptional preservation of the entire historic town, very interesting to hire a local authorized guide, whether the historic town hotels are very expensive or alternatives in the modern area just a 15-minute walk away, watch the photos and you'll want to go.

Cáceres has an old town worth visiting, it reminded us a lot of the city of Granada.We stayed in a hostel outside the hustle and bustle Hostal Argentina todo super clean and very economical, commissioned very kind.

To enter the historic center of Cáceres is to transport yourself back in time to a few centuries ago in just what it takes to cross the square and climb a few steps that will welcome you.

Visiting Cáceres Medieval.

We visited this beautiful detained city in El medioevo.We traveled from Argentina to visit this piece of history.It's worth a visit.But inform yourself well..because despite being a world heritage site, the attractions were closed.We could only see the outside.We couldn't see the aqueducts or climb the towers.It's a pity the lack of organization.No points of interest should be closed just because it's half a day.
