It's a 1* hotel, but very nice. The room had plenty of outdoor light, was clean, had some toiletries in the bathroom and the wifi was fine. It's well located in the city. The only drawback is that the reception is not 24 hours. They give you a card with which to enter and exit and that's no problem. When I arrive I arrive about 22:30 and although they close at 22:00 they tell me that they are waiting for me no problem (the reception staff is very kind) but on the way out I wanted to leave my luggage there until the afternoon, but on Sunday at the reception desk at 14:00 and I had to spend the whole day pulling out my suitcase.

A family-friendly hotel with a very good location in the center of Cerdanyola.Although it is affordable, it would also be worth noting that for a very long time one can stay in a 4-star hotel (whose amenities are far above what this hotel offers ), so in our opinion it would be suspended in the quality-price ratio.The austerity of the rooms rose with the minimum and indispensable requirement and is reflected in a tiny single wedding bed suitable for people of short stature, accompanied by the continuous swinging of the pillow moorings and a bathroom that calls for reforms in a loud voice.In our judgment, too basic, even in terms of the cleanliness of the rooms.

Centric and austere.

The price ratio is perfect, the hotel is centrally located, which makes it very comfortable, the cleanliness is very good, and the treatment is very good, which makes you feel very comfortable, the rooms are quite spacious and complete.

Perfect Perfect

Simple and comfortable hotel. I have stayed there quite a few times for work reasons and the rooms are always neat and clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive and in the hotel cafeteria you can dine quite well.

Comfort and good price.

If you need a hotel in and around Cerdanyola, this is your place, especially clean and friendly, the others have a very good menu in the city centre with parking in their building, congratulations to their team.

Back in Barcelona on Business and at the height of Holiday season it was decided to look outside the city centre for a 4 night stay. Found the Hotel Torre Vermella on many website all seemed to give good reviews so I booked it.

This hotel is about 30 min train journey from center of Barcelona. Easy to get to as many trains from Barcelona Sants go to Cerdanyola Valles station and is in zone 2 so a 10 journey ticket only costs 13.80. Hotel is a 10 min walk from station or 3 min taxi ride.

The hotel is quite new and set in a residential area but with plenty of cafe's and bars in the area along with shops and restaurants. Hotel has it own cafe and restaurant and serves snaks and drinks throughout the day except siesta time!! Registration was quick and easy and the room given was on the 1st floor. Good hotel room, clean good bathroom facilities, steaming hot shower every morning and room cleaned daily with bathroom restocked with dental kit, combs, gels etc.

The lady on reception was extremely helpful and spoke english which helped as my schoolboy Spanish is not good!! The cost for 4 nights was less than £150 which is terrific value. If you dont mind out of town and mixing with the locals then this is a suberb hotel for seeing Barcelona and then returning to peace and quiet in the evening.

Excellent small hotel

We chose this hotel as it was in Cerdanyola where my old school friend now lives. The room was clean and tidy and was serviced every day. The staff were friendly and helpful. You must try a cup of coffee in the cafe on the ground floor as it was the best I've ever had. 
The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the Cerdanyola railway station, where you can catch regular trains into the centre of Barcelona. Tip if you're going to use the Train a lot  buy a T10 ticket its cheaper (gives you 10 train trips per ticket and more than 1 person can use it). The trip into Barca took about 20mins. 

Why pay for expensive hotels in barca when you can commute. 

There are lots of shops in Cerdanyola that line the main streets. The bars and cafes are nice friendly and I would not say cheap but value for money. On the same road as the hotel there is a Irish Pub.
We would recommend this hotel highly 
Make sure if you want a tea or coffee in your room to take a travel kettle with you as there is no tea tray.

Wonderful Hotel

We chose this hotel as it was the nearest to my sister's house and we were visiting for a family celebration. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but no extras like a fridge or hair dryer. As long as you know this in advance there is no problem. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the station and you can get a train from there to the centre of Barcelona which takes about 25 minutes. You can also get a train to and from the airport with just one change at Sants station. This cost us 3.60 Euros compared to 40-60 Euros for a taxi. The town of Cerdanyola has plenty of shops and bars and is a pleasant town to wander around. The set lunch menus at the hotel were brilliant value with excellent food. For 9.95 Euros you could have three courses with bread, wine and coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the price made it excellent value for money.

The rooms are clean and have everything you need, but no extras like a refrigerator or hair dryer. If you know this in advance there is no problem. The staff was very kind and available. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the station, and you can take a train from there to the center of Barona that takes about 25 minutes. You can also take a train to and from the airport with only one change at Sants station. It cost us 3.60 euros compared to 40-60 euros for a taxi. The city of Cerdanyola has many shops and bars, and a pleasant way to pass bread and wine.

It's a wonderful hotel.

Very good value for money. Very quiet and very clean hotel. Cerdanyola city centre, close to a pedestrian zone. Very friendly staff, but not speaking French. Spacious and air-conditioned room. Elevator. I did not eat lunch at this hotel, nor breakfast, but the restaurant seemed well maintained.
