Cheap & in a great location but that's where the good things stop. Firstly you pick the keys up from Pension Maltilde which is opposite not an issue. But the 3 flights of stairs with no lift is. Continental breakfast is advertised but i wouldn't even call it that - it's basically a piece of bread with butter and jam! Oh and some warm orange juice if you want that...this 'breakfast' also takes place in Pension Matilde. Neither of which is mentioned on booking.com. So if you find it hard to walk up stairs, have loads of luggage etc you will struggle. Going to a different place for breakfast is also a pain in the arse & again wasn't advertised. 
My room was ok, bed was comfy & pillows were great. It also had aircon which was the biggest plus of the room. The towel rail was hanging off the wall as was the main light fixture. My bed sheets weren't changed once in the 6 nights i was there...the window in my room didn't shut proberly so it could be noisy at night for those of you who don't wear earplugs & at one point the Male receptionist walked past my window to access a aircon unit outside - my bedroom window was open but thankfully i had clothes on - no idea why he didn't think to warn me 1st.... My room door also creaked so going to the bathroom in the early hours felt like i was waking everyone else up. 
The bathrooms were always clean - not always the hostels fault - people are disgusting in bathrooms that aren't there own....however 1 bathroom had ants in it constantly & the same bathroom door didn't shut unless you forced it which meant people either didn't bother or woke people up trying...The guy at reception did allow me to use their phone when i left mine somewhere which was very nice of him & there is a supermarket around the corner which is very handy & it's close to everything. Overall for the price i paid it was OK but i would definitely look to stay somewhere else next time i visit Granada

Poor overall, but great location & decent price

We went there in March 2020. Room reserved in advance, dirty and very noisy, uncomfortable bed, located in an annex building. Breakfast to avoid, unpalatable coffee in a very lukewarm common room. We had booked 3 nights paid in advance but stayed there only one because we had to shorten our stay due to the start of the lockdown in Spain. I asked for a one night refund, the owner (or manager) told me that she thought we would refund two, it was quite normal and that the money would be transferred from my account.

Very bad experience

I had no intention of writing any opinion regardless of experience, since I paid 20€ per individual room + breakfast, and I knew what to expect. However: Upon arrival at the reception (which is in another building) I was booked (according to the owner, it had been occupied...). I was placed in a room with a sink (which is not a toilet, only a sink), which turned out to be loose and which inspired little confidence. The building is historic, to call it something else, and smells like such, an old, humid and a little bit of a second. The apartment is full of ants, and the bathroom fell off the screen of the curtain on my head. Fortunately, I am sitting there and there was nothing to do with the bathroom. In the next room I found myself, a friend of mine, a tenant of the other building. I had also seen the building, and I felt that the door was closed, and I could not see anything, but the door was open.

Haced case to the opinions

It performs the function I wanted, sleeping and having breakfast.I used to travel alone.My room was very basic and small with a bed, closet, table and chair, and a bathroom.It has 2 bathrooms for 8-10 rooms.If you know what happens at the boarding house and on the street too.The breakfast, although not a buffet, is the right thing to do in the morning.It needs some reform.

The basics are basic.

If you want to spend just one night in Granada, this is a good option, because it's very well located, and I wouldn't stay any longer because the inn is not so comfortable, but it's worth it.

Great for one night.

We had a room with a private bathroom and a bathroom although this one was renovated and there is water everywhere, the mattresses are pretty good but the noise of the street is unbearable. There is no elevator and the rooms are upstairs, the surprise is the smell of piss that you find yourself climbing the stairs.

A little left out.

Seeing the reviews I was expecting worse. We are traveling in a 3. narrow-facing room in a street with many rooms open until late. Castle bed (marriage bed below, single upstairs), comfortable but stained sheets. Washing in the room. Towels ok. Phon present. Shared bathrooms with other Mooolto Spartan and old guests without windows. WiFi present. Excellent location. Breakfast included but not by us. Arm yourself with the spirit of adaptation.

Just for a few days

The property charges credit cards re-deposited after check-out for no reason. A fling through the hotel? I booked 2 nights in 2 separate individual bookings (booking 1: first night and booking 2: second night). Both nights were paid after cancelled booking a few weeks ago. However, the property has made another check-out on the room price on the credit card a few hours after check-out. So far without clarification! Besides breakfast is very scarce and the floor beds are very (!) folded.

It's fine, but not anymore.

The room wasn't bad, it was very narrow, but I only stayed one night here, so it wasn't a problem. It was the typical hostel room. I give it three stars because the owner is a little'special'.

We stayed in this boarding house to enjoy the bridge and were delighted with the family's clean living space and especially with the treatment of the owners and their employees, it is close to the center and the tapestry sites.
