The hotel is easily found close to the Camiño.The lobby is very tidy and the bar is a bit hectic!
Rooms are fine and good value but lack air conditioning which in 29'C at 2200, was sadly missed.
We avoided dinner as we spotted a freezer full of frozen pizzas choosing instead a fresh pizza from the restaurant 2 levels up!
Breakfast standard toast and coffee.
It's an old hotel with a few rough edges but worthy of a visit on the Camiño.

Handy on the Camiño

Don't go in that door, please, unless it's summer and you find nothing else. They don't know how to welcome them in the first place. They don't know how to welcome pilgrims.

It's horrible.

We stopped here when walking the Camino and had an excellent lunch (although the vegetarian member was stuck with tortilla and salad mixte - minus the tuna!). Service and food quality were both excellent. Recommended for food and drink at least - we didn't stay so I can't say anything about the accommodation but it looked spacious from the outside.

Excellent place for lunch on the Camino

We telephoned ahead to make a reservation and although our Spanish isn’t brilliant, the owner remembered the call four days later when we arrived and showed us to our room.
Once the passing pilgrim trade fizzed out, we were entertained by some local gentlemen playing cards and discussing current affairs..
A great place to practise speaking Spanish.

Friendly owners

He spent this holy week as a pilgrim and he found a perfect place to rest where I was treated like at home.He was ill and I was treated with great humanity, very good people, I am very grateful.

The best of the road.

The owners are the worst people I've ever met with: miseducation, insults, intolerance...etc... Part of the fear they subject people to; 1.20€ a can for natives and 1.50€ for road people.

It's almost like I'm short!

After a day of many physical and mechanical problems (breakdown bike baggage and bikes stuck in the mud), we were only able to finish the route at 9:00 p.m. At the end of the afternoon, anticipating the delay, I called the hostel to warn us that we were having problems and if we could get in late. The owner not only said to stay calm, that we could go, as he waited for us at night on the road, on a super cold night, with a lantern so that we wouldn't get lost. Then, although the kitchen was already closed, he opened an exception and served us dinner.

Look for a little bit more a few steps We because of the little experience... we didn't do it... as the hotel disappointed me... in fact fortunately we didn't stop for dinner and went to another place... What to say... the rule also applies to hostels: not always who does the most advertisingA is an indicator of quality... Cmq you sleep has toilets and showers

There's a lot better than paying less.

We stayed here on our recent Camino Frances. The albergue is fine, with clean bathrooms and showers and good bunkbeds. The main downside, as someone else has pointed out, is that there is little or nothing in the town itself. We were there on a cold and rainy day, so even laundry was difficult (as the clothes lines were mostly uncovered). The accompanying restaurant had the usual pilgrim fare.

A fine albergue

We stayed at this hostel one night on our Camino de Santiago, we were well received in the hotel's restaurant bar, we had a clean and adequate room with a window on the roof, so from the bed we could observe the birds during the day and the stars at night.
