When I made the reservation, the website marked me at 14€/night and charged me 32€/night and I found the towel holder in the shower and some empty buckets in the shower.

 Very high price unexpectedly for the low service.

We have been to these cells on many occasions, which are still small, well-equipped apartments in the buildings on the central square, which have different capacities, so it is advisable to book them in advance as you may find that everything is busy.

Good environment and peace of mind.

I went on the route of the hermits in the Montserrat mountains, and I think this is the best quality-price option if you are going to spend several days. last night I had to change hotel because this one was already complete, and the price difference was abysmal.

Austere, spacious and quiet.

After staying a few days at the Abad Cisneros Hotel, everything was uncomfortable. It is full of security personnel who seem to be confined to a barracks. Rather than a place of worship that looks like an amusement park, you are robbed of money for everything from the parking lot, to the abusive prices of shops and super expensive food. For the price they charge you is not worth it, no compensation. You feel overwhelmed by being vigilant. I learned that all the establishments are owned by the Monks through a company called LARSA, of which the Monks own 98% of the shares. We are very religious but have to live in the opulence of their businesses, as well as from the subsidies of the Generalitat, the Diputación, the donations of corporations of art and private works of art, in addition to the donations of the monks. Let's return to the park. But let's not let any of these monkeys do any big business. Let's go back to the monkeys.

It looks like an army barracks.

A weekend of enjoying Montserrat in a simple room but with everything you need to spend a few days. Gas kitchen, kitchen utensils, dishes. (Traer cerillas). Television with a channel showing the altar of the basilica. A step of countless paths and paths to enjoy the landscape and nature.

Spiritual tranquility and nature.

The apartment is quite large even though the bathroom is demanding. The location is ideal. The kitchen deserves to be supplemented by a bread grill and a coffee machine. The view is more beautiful from the top floor.

Simple and efficient housing

My room had a horrible smell coming out of the bathroom drain, like rotten eggs. The room was also not quiet at all. I could hear all the rooms around me as well as the monastery’s bells every quarter hour.  The site is absolutely beautiful but I would wait until the new building is opened.

Even though it looked a little simple, it was just what we needed.
The beds were good. There was a fine fridge with a small freezer. And a gas-stove.

A great little tip, fill your half-liter water bottles HALF, with fresh water and put them in the freezer before you  go to bed.
When you go out the next day, fill up the rest of the bottles with fresh water, and you have a cold drink for hours.

Room with 2 bedrooms, just what we were looking for

Building facing construction causing noise at 8am. Refuse apartment 101 at the road level, garbage dump and entrance to municipal employees' trucks. Clean but old apartment.

that could be good

The apartments at Monserrat are quite dated but spacious and immaculate.  Plus, they're pet friendly! Dishes and linens are provided but no soaps or matches for the stove. Staying the night at Monserrat has a great added benefit...it's calm and peaceful after all the day-trippers leave.
