This view of the debt to the owners was at least two years ago, and today the day has come.It is ideal for seeing the sacred shore, spectacular treatment, facilities, destinations and tremendous dinners...I still remember the smoky choricito....impressive.

You are in the surroundings and you feel Gallego, Diego met us beyond any expectations. El Pazo, a delightful place and location, conveys to you the love its owners have had in rehabilitating the place. The unique environment, walks, nature and a village Ferreira de Pantón in which you can go tapas (completely recommended) for the price and being surrounded by the peasants of that area, simple but great people.

An experience more than a brilliant accommodation!!!

It's nice to meet places like this Maside house, an impressive pazo rehabilitated in a huge estate and with the best of the hosts: Diego. Always willing to help and with an unparalleled knowledge of the area of the Holy Ribera. Not to be missed the visit to the Pazo, the winery, the saloon, the garden... and the magnificent explanations and the love with which Diego tells it.

Simply a GENIAL.

Simply put, we have to let ourselves be led by the magic of the place and by the instructions of Diego, the person who runs the establishment. The pazo is in the heart of the Sacra Ribeira. Leaving ourselves advised, we made the route of the Canyons del Sil, which Diego reserved for us from the same pazo, since at all times he proved to know the area al dedillo. The rooms are very cozy and clean. The breakfast, more homey and rich impossible. Diego's mother, a very friendly and friendly lady, offered us a simple snack of morras made by her, as well as biscuits and freshly made orange juice. The place is ideal for rest, since the noise that is heard is unique to nature. Before going to our place, Diego admonished us to the Pazo, including the incomplete history, reform and refreshment, which we now have, as well as a perfect treat, to achieve a perfectly perfectly perfect finish.

Great stay in Casa de Maside. They offer you to visit the pazo and learn about its history, the winery is absolutely incredible, we were delighted. The room is fine, spacious and well-located. When everything was silent, you heard the noise of static electricity and it was a bit disturbing. Worst of all, the wifi doesn't reach the rooms and the signal is pretty bad, it only works in the reception of the house and it's pretty uncomfortable, but it seems like they're working on it.

An impressive pazo

Since our arrival, we felt that the stay in the Pazo de Maside was going to be something unique.No more to arrive, Diego, who runs the establishment, took us as a guide through the different departments of the Pazo, telling us about their history and how they had gradually rehabilitated the different rooms until they turned it into what is today a magnificent place for rest.Perfectly located in the heart of the Sacra Riviera, it allows to tour both the area of the Sil canyons and the part of the canyons of the Miño.Simple but welcoming accommodations, which perfectly meet the area of comfort you can rest.At any time, Diego con, perfectly acquainted with the cuisine, who is always willing to advise you, offers you information about the many options available in the area, but also makes it possible to start your own day with a very pleasant and tasty variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as to make your own.

To repeat and recommend without a doubt.

The pension is very recomandable . The house "una maravilla" still partly under restoration by the owners,  what does not disturb the living. The mother of the owner produces sausages and ham really very good and the owner explains everything. The whole house is basically from the 16th century and he shows what already has been done and what still has to be done. The beds really VERY good and also the wifi fast and stable. Stay there and enjoy!

Great place, charming hosts 

We visited Casa De Maisde for one night and I wish we could stayed there longer .
This is not a fancy place or a 4-5 star hotel , so for all those expecting such a thing you should be aware of it . Its uniqueness and high grade is coming from the special atmosphere around and the wonderful owner. 
This is simply a place where you can feel the heart of the owner biting there ,and you can get in and step back several hundreds of years, thinking about what this place was used for,and how much history is inside the walls and the surrounding .  
The Casa is managed and owned by Diego, a young guy who shared with us the story of the place from the past to the present, walked us around the house and its basements and ancient rooms, and answered with a large smile and enthusiasm with us whatever question we had . His parents bought this property around 10 years ago when it was at a real bad shape. It took his 6-7 years to refurbish it and there is work around the house which he keeps doing and refurbishing. The place has a great potential, far beyond where it is now.
We learned from Diego that the house is from the 16th-17th century, and was part of a large house of a rich owner which had large vineyard and a winery at his Bodega, as well as area for his workers to live at. 
The rooms are small , simple , clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy , but you should not expect it to be fancy ! There is a nice dining area , leaving room and even a large hall that can occupy a nice party.  
The village itself is small and lovely . After having a nice breakfast (again …not fancy but more than enough) , after Diego was squeezing for us fresh orange juice and offer us his mom's homemade jam , we walked around the area , saw the fields , the old close by castle and then drove through the little village, saw the morning starting , and watched the bakery man preparing the hot tasty morning bread fresh from the oven . 
I hope I will have the opportunity to come there again for more than one night and explore the area a bit further … a truly beautiful and unique place to remember.
