Stayed here for a few nights on holidays and it’s a great place to stay it’s so central a two minute walk to the beach we had a sea view room with a balcony. Rooms are clean and cute. It’s very close to shops there’s a chemist across the street. The shared bathrooms are really clean and modern bedrooms have flat screen TVs. 
The hostess is so nice and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay here

A little far from the center but with a view of the sea.The room was small but clean.The shared bathroom but clean all the time.There were two bathrooms available in the hallway.The girl who attended us was very nice and kind.

The good news is that we have a good time.

We booked a room for one night during the San Sebastián Film Festival in this boarding house and we had a very bad night. The bed is really bad: springs coming out, beds grinding and above all that bending! The room's rudimentary cleanliness, water rooms and toilets on clean levels. A chemical strawberry smell in the whole boarding house is pretty disgusting.

Long time since I've stayed in a pensione so I'm a bit out of touch with what to expect. Smallish room with views of the beach but suited me as a single traveller. About 6 rooms in total. Bathrooms in excellent condition. Check-in very easy. About 90 euro a night but will have to see out the remainder of my trip to work out whether it's good value.

Everything was perfect. the room had an amazing view of the beach that was just down the street. we were a little scared of the shared bathroom, but it was always very clean and neat. the owners are very familiar and attentive, they tried to solve any problem and gave you advice on things to do and where to eat. i highly recommend it and if i come back i will repeat.

I have no opinion on the Tu Hogar pension, in the month of September when I had a reservation and could not use it, I was unable to move to San Sebastian for health reasons, when I made the trip to Donosti in November, I resided in the Pension Aida and I was amazed.

A family trip.

Perfect location and quality-price ratio.Front to Gros Beach, with sea views and good care from those responsible.As a boarding house it is, no one should expect luxuries, the bathrooms are shared but all this is clean and the price is cinema considering we are talking about San Sebastian.Just around the corner, a very good cafeteria/pastry shop, perfect for breakfasts/meals.Repeat..

The owners are very attentive and friendly, they know the neighborhood very well and advise you where to go and what to do, the views are unbeatable, and the rooms are very cozy... to repeat!

A pleasant place in a privileged position.

My friend and I stayed at Tu Hogar for 3 nights in a twin, sea-view room. The room was cute and clean and the view was fantastic. The shared bathroom was incredibly clean. Probably the best shared facilities I've ever used. The hosts are lovely and so friendly. They sorted out parking for us at a discounted rate. I left a dress and jacket in the wardrobe after I left and they contacted me to get it posted to my address. We had a great time and really loved being out of the old town and in the more local-feeling suburb or Gros. The old town is only a short walk away :) and the beach across the road was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely, good value place to stay

Great location in Gros, clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms, friendly hosts

Really enjoyed our stay here. Juan Jo the owner was so helpful. Room was clean and nicely decorated. 2 Bathrooms which are shared.  Ideal location, our room had a view of the ocean. Highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking to surf, right next to main surf beach in San Sebastián.
