Pros: Very good food, incredible prices, spectacular attention from the staff. Fabulous views. Contra: Bacalao with scales and very little made (medium raw).

Simply incredible, the best quality-price hostel you can find in the area. Highly recommended for hiking lovers. Moreover, it is fully adapted for wheelchairs, which increases accessibility.

Excellent staffing, high-quality food, comfortable and simple rooms, well-kept bathrooms except for the disabled male, who had a bathtub drained from the first day we arrived, and smelling very badly that part of the bathroom, but for the rest wonderful. Also good location if what you are looking for is hiking, no shops relatively close but if a good restaurant. Recommended considering the price.

It is described that Albergue Montes de Anaga has Heating, Laundry area and WiFi is available in all areas. Nothing is true, there is no WiFi in the room. Instead you get a rotten floor and a moldy window you can't see through. In my reservation, check out was at 12.00 but surprisingly the whole place closed at 10.00, with first bus running at 11.40. The staff denies responsibility and passes it on to Booking.com. I have already submitted my review to booking.com but it looks like they don't like to show it, so now i will try to post here on TripAdvisor. I Wish you a safe travel Anker

Don’t waste your time!

Halfway between the hostel and the hostel, this establishment is ideally located for nature walks in the Anagá massif. Those who have not come for nature will surely be bored! The view from the terrace is beautiful when the clouds dissipate. The rooms/bedroom are not very spacious but clean and clear. As for food in the evening, you should expect to have consistent bread and soup regularly but it's okay when you exercise during the day. And finally, the staff is very nice.

A hostel on top of a mountain

Day hiking in Anaga, the hostel is very well located if you want to visit Anaga and take routes there.The hostel is correct, has very nice showers and is clean.It is a budget stay.If you don't mind going from Albergue I would definitely recommend it.

A great place to relax and enjoy the opportunity to do trekking routes The hotel is very clean and has a low price, but you don't mind sharing It's very quiet There are beautiful views The area is incredible, worth losing.

Tranquility and beautiful views.

The location is amazing and as long as you bear in mind this is an inexpensive hostel you will not be disappointed by anything.
As one other reviewer points out - if you have a car you would get better value, and choice, eating your evening meal at a bar in one of the villages.

- right meal (selected in half board) - watch out the hostel is closed at 11pm so if you want to eat outside you'll have to think about getting in before this hour there - very correct price - super welcome - on site you can pay 2.5 euros for a hiking card in the Anaga mountains with km and difficulty - wifi captured correctly in the dining room but not in the rooms - a huge balcony with several tables will allow you to eat with the view if the temperature allows - chickens against the bottom with the little chicks 😍 - no kitchen made available to customers - bar inside the dining room the private room with two people bathroom and toilet: - it's pretty much summer so we're on a clean bed - clean sheets - which are not clean - but the first step in the bathroom is to put the pressure in the bathroom with a nice shower - it's the first step in the world;)

A place with great views and close to great trails where to get lost.The stay was pleasant, there are rooms with their own bathroom.The prices of the cafeteria are similar to any other.The staff is friendly and helps with the doubts about trails.
