The smell of moisture does not disappear.The noise of the next restaurant is constant and does not stop until late in the morning.The room is not comfortable and rest is not possible.If you hear even the noise of the next room.It is better to invest in another type of establishment.

It's better not to go.

We've spent three nights and if you want to rest you can't, there's noise from the people in the restaurant and the rooms next door, there's a little smell of humidity.

Pasable 

It was impeccable and very nicely decorated, the only thing the bed is not the most comfortable in the world, but for one night, the price ratio is very good, free parking.

 Pretty good enough.

The site is a bit hidden. If you arrive in 5 minutes by car from Santander but it is a bit difficult to locate. From a road you enter the back of a building (a restaurant) and there is a parking lot. From that parking lot you access the houses directly. The check in is done in the same restaurant. Our house was quite cozy. Very clean and decorated with taste. I didn't know if they would clean the room daily because the price is quite cheap. For me, they change towels and clean the room daily. On the accommodation website it says that all the cabins have microwaves and a fridge and ours didn't. In addition, there is a shortage of paper in the room. Removing these little tonerries, everything else. The air conditioning works perfectly for the temperature, there is no doubt about the temperature, but there is a great deal of room quality.

Casitas with much charm.

It's a simple but very nice place. I loved the headboards. It's quiet and cozy. Everything is very clean and bright. The food is very good, I loved everything and was eager to try more jams. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a quiet low-rise neighborhood on the outskirts of town, but you can get anywhere in a moment. Absolutely recommended.

Wonderful and wonderful.

The rooms are arranged like apartments that look outward. The room is beautiful, but it has a horrible humidity smell that doesn't go away at all. We had to buy air conditioners and even with them the smell would be camouflaged. The rooms are towards the bar terrace, people constantly passing in front of you, if you open the window to ventilate, zero privacy. Part of the noise from the terrace at night, of course, gets into the room. For what they offer, the price is exaggerated.

Poor experience

I think the quality of the price is not adapted because although the situation of the houses is very good for visiting the area (we move by car) and the design of the rooms is very nice, the mattress and the facilities themselves are very normal. I mean, for that quality I would have lowered the price or at least put a good mattress. The pillows are tasty, but for me they are low. A positive point that avoids the humidity I read in the comments before going; that it has air conditioning and if you put the feeling of humidity (eye, we are also in the north, it is normal to notice humidity).

Stayed at Las Casitas for a week with my wife on an RCI exchange. It seemed quite quiet when we were there and the bar didn’t seem to be getting used that much at nights but with the bars and restaurants of Playa Blanca only being a 5 - 10 minute walk away that wasn’t really an issue. Our apartment hadn’t been updated for a while but was adequate as well as being clean and tidy. After looking round the area I think the situation of Las Casitas was perfect for us. We both enjoyed it even though the weather wasn’t that great and would certainly recommend it to others. 

Lovely holiday 

We came over to Santander from Portsmouth on board the Brittany Ferry Pont-Aven. Unfortunately, the arrival was delayed by 2.5 hrs due to Storm Aileen, so that we were unable to disembark from the ferry until 22.00 (Spanish time). From then on it became a merry go round in and around Santander, looking for this establishment, in spite of the use of the satnav. We finally arrived at a road called Calle el Somo but was unable to locate number 114. After knocking on a few doors and making relevant enquiries, we were led by a young man on his motor bike to the car park adjacent to La Ventana Restaurante. There we checked in with a member of the Bar Staff and given the key to Room 3 in a row of single storey motel style bedrooms. We would stress at this point that at nowhere did we find the hotel name Las Casitas on display. Even the print out receipt for our overnight stay had the name La Ventana Restaurante on it.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was due to shut as it was by then after 23.00. We bought drinks at the bar and retire to our room for the night. We found the bedroom clean but basic with a musty smell and damp feel. The ensuite shower room was of good size and quite modern but without any ventilation. We  should point out that we did the booking with booking.com on 04.05.17 at 70.00 Euros, room only. On checking booking.com website on line, the latest cost for the night is reduced to just49.00 Euros, which seems very strange!

In conclusion, one could just about put up with this place as a room for the night. It is extremely difficult to find with or without satnav. The fact that late booking is cheaper than advanced booking, a difference of over 20 Euros, is something that only booking.com can explain! Don't forget they don't do breakfast! Incidentally, the neighbourhood area does appear somewhat run down too! All in all, we have to say that we would be reluctant to use it again.
