With an ideal location, after passing Villafranca del Bierzo (direction Lugo) and in the middle of the Camino de Santiago, I must admit that I almost always make a Relax stop here in VALCARCE, and also as almost always the Café is quite full of people of all kinds (Pilgrims and non-Pilgrims).The service is quite fast for the number of people who usually have the most times and rations, (although I have now noted that the amount has dropped somewhat), are acceptable.As much as I use the product of the area and its cuisine is quite passable.I imagine that I have not yet gotten a chance to do so, as much as the crisis (and not all the pilgrims), but this will give the price of the whole trip, even if I have to do so.

A break on the Route

I can't comment on the hotel, but I do on the restaurant, which is what a restaurant like this is asked for: speed, variety and affordable prices, as long as the dining room is almost full.

A good road restaurant.

I can say with certainty that they were the worst toast I've ever had in my life: fries and bread knowing a churro. If you're going to eat anything else. No, I stayed at the hotel, alone in the restaurant. We stopped because we were on our way to Santiago, starving to get a good toast.

We made a quick stop to eat and ordered a few snacks to finish fast, but the attention was a little bad because of the bad treatment we received with rushes, bad comments and bad faces, among other things, well.

Simply spectacular!!!We stopped by chance and the truth is that from now on I will stop whenever I go north.

A great hotel and restaurant on the highway, a great menu menu for the day at a low price of 14€ where you can choose between ten firsts, ten seconds and more than twenty desserts, abundant rations, homemade dishes and typical traditional cuisine to keep that volume of attention to the public.

My tour bus stopped here for lunch on our way to France. Since we were 46 people, the service was very good. It is cafeteria style so it was a matter of walking along and choosing food to eat. The food was very good.  There were Spanish choices which were tasty. The price was reasonable as well.

Right for a mandatory stop on a long trip if you want to grab a bite.The food is of normal quality, but they have quite a few options to choose from.

Valley to get out of the way.. road restaurant

It's the second time I've been on this list, they're looking at you and not looking at you, and then they're apologizing, they want to give you another chance, and they're still the same, and they're seeing that people are outnumbering other customers, and that's a very bad experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

Please pay attention.

Anticipating a stopover during my Camino de Santiago, I stopped in this exercise that manages, in addition to the restaurant, also the hotel and the hostel for pilgrims. The hostel, where I am now, is ordered, clean, with rooms not too large. The restaurant, where I ate lunch the 10 Euro special menu for pilgrims, is nothing particularly researched but is ultimately decidedly decent. The menu with mixed salad, steak with potatoes, wine and coffee has proven to be good and abundant. The courtesy and careful service.
