I was travelling with my parents through Sweden in our car and we needed a place to stay - Mölletofta was the place we stumbled upon.

The rooms with breakfast were cheap - about 50e for my single room and about 80e for a double room for my parents. What they neglected to inform us was that the single room did not have its own bathroom - I had to use a shared toilet and shower down the hall if I needed to use them. The double room had its own bathroom, so hey, at least my parents were able to shower and use the toilet with ease.

We struggled to first even get the door open to the single room - the lock would not budge. Once I got in, I experienced the same struggle with locking it again. Nevermind trying to get out of the room again. Apparently the door needs to be pulled/pushed towards the room for the lock to work even a bit - something I discovered after struggling with it for a few minutes.

The bed felt okay to sleep on, but every time I moved even a bit, the bed made extremely loud noices - ensuring that I woke up. There was also a loud beep that came from the hallway every 10 minutes - so sleep was more of an attempt than actual sleep.

Next morning we woke up, and I went to my parents room to use the toilet facilities - my mom informed me that there is no point in even trying to shower as there is not enough pressure for the water. She was barely able to wash her body, nevermind her hair.

We went down to the restaurant to have some breakfast - only to be met by an extremely angry and unpolite worker who told us our breakfast was one ready made sandwich each and a cup of coffee! My father tried asking if there is anything else we could get, like porridge, but the man basically ignored him, just pointing to the sandwiches. We grabbed them and found that inside there was a massive amount of butter, small piece of lettuce, a slice of cheese, small slice of ham, slice of cucumber and a quarter of tomato that was so soft that it should have been thrown in the trash - not put into a sandwich.

I did not have high expectations when we drove into the parkinglot of Mölletofta - but I can honestly say that whatever expectations I had, were sadly not met by this hotel. I absolutely will not stay here ever again - I would get a better night of sleep in my car or even simply outside!

Horrible experience

Dropped in for lunch. Very bad and impolite service by the swedish manager, other staff ok, but don't speak swedish or English . Food looks nice on the photos , but is awful looking, tasteless and cold in real life. The prices though are high end. Atmosphere : cold, unfriendly and understandably only few guests. Toilets stinks as not being cleaned for weeks. Avoid this place. I wiant to give it zero stars.

We stopped here for some refreshments on our way to Vadstena and found the coffe and the food to be nothing short of terrible.  The food and coffee were only slightly worse than the non-existent service from rude staff.

The room is okay but one can be small for four people, heavy light concerns at night, curtains too thin, breakfast buffet very medium, if not nice staff and good shop or we can find everything, playground and food very close

All right for one night.

Stayed at this 2 star hotel in molletofta near klippan sweden,  for bed and breakfast, verycomfortable beds and pillows, with en suite. Very clean, breakfast was buffet style, quite adequate, staff friendly, a shop is also in the building,  prices was very good.

2 weeks at rasta

As part of our annual visit to Finland, we always stayed in a hotel at about 20:15 p.m. and the same regular staff there was busy with the cleaning (cooking staff) to pay for the next trip to Stockholm (from here our ship sails to Turku or Helsinki). So this time we stayed in the RASTA Mölletofta and there was more than a stranger, in detail: We arrived there at about 20:15 p.m. and the same regular staff there was busy with the cleaning (cooking staff?). When one of these staffs asked us what we wanted to do with the dog (because we both went to a very large bathroom, or Helsinki) and my wife asked me if there was anything to do with the dog (because we went to a very large bathroom) and my wife (because there was nothing to do with the cleaning, or if there was anything to do with the dog, or if there was anything to do with the dog) we also got a little bit of the same information from her.

...at most for one night and then never again...

We stopped for a late lunch at Rasta Molletofta. They gave an all-day buffet, there was fried fish, Chicken casserole, pork tenderloin and swedish meatballs in cream sauce. Fried and cooked potatoes.
We had no problem with the food except that it was totally void of any spices. So grab the HP sauce on the way to your table. Coffee was drinkable but not exiting either. So the food was not exiting but ok to eat; this is a place to stop when you are hungry, but not for any other reason. The location is convenient if you are travelling on the E4.
