Spontaneously, the hotel was short-lived and unrepentant. We were very friendlyly received. The hotel is authentic, but that's why it's even more charming. The rooms were very clean and the entrecote for dinner was heavenly. I'd love to come back.

A charming hotel.

I have been visiting the Loetschenthal since I was a child and consider the Hotel Bietschorn the hotel that represents my family Swiss hospitality in the most authentic way. A traditional building covered with wood inside and outside, with a beautiful lunchroom inside and a very pleasant panoramic terrace where to eat outside. The chef and his staff are inexhaustible and tireless in making every unique guest feel and try to meet all their desires: even our alano Carlo Martello was welcomed and cocolated here. The breakfast prepared with local products is excellent and the restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine dishes cooked and presented in an excellent way. Our room was very rich and neat, with a beautiful view of the mountains, and try to come to meet all their desires: every morning we find just a few precious cooked and cooked chicory on the top of the hotel.

A lovely traditional hotel, beautiful inside and out, with a thoughtful and priceless staff.

A disappointing stay... The property is old and feels very dated. It is cluttered (our view) with baby strollers, spinning wheels and an old exercise bike on  stair landings. We found the food very expensive (even by Swiss standards) and the menu card a bit bizarre in that it was all about meat with few other options. We appreciated the close and no cost parking. We loved the area for skiing and will be back, but we will be staying somewhere else.

Disappointing

Comfortable, rustic, simple, you have everything you need, beautiful views, good location, your own parking lots and more: - Excellent dinner and breakfast - your own products, the yogurt, the jam, the caramel sauce, etc.

For a visit to Lötschental, there's only this hotel!

Everything was perfect. Silence...you could sleep in the open window... the very modern and spacious bathroom, the room: space, bedding, service, furnishings.., the extras like the sauna or the all-new loaned backpack (with a randos card), breakfast with homemade products, and especially the evening meal (half board option) with attentive and competent staff.

Four nights in late October

Single-bed double room, purchased online shortly before arriving at the hotel. Quiet and quiet valley, suitable for hiking in MTB abundant buffet breakfast and with local products including homemade jams The rooms have a shared bathroom on each floor and a shared shower space

Silence and tranquility

We had spent one night. The room was perfectly decent. The bed was good. The private bathroom was very good. The other night we ate at the hotel restaurant.

Excellent value for money

The owners welcomed us very, very kindly. We felt instantly as if we were part of the family. In short - very kind and friendly people are here. The hotel is very much to my taste, namely a beautiful wooden house, as it belongs here. Super delicious food completes the stay here. Absolutely recommended for any tour that goes to the Lotsch Valley. Team Bietschhorn - you are top!:-)

It's a very comfortable hotel.

Booking called it'Fabulous '. The address was a small cabin with no outside sign. We didn 't want to believe it and we went in asking. Dirty and messy everywhere. Four outside tables frequented by local farmers. No reception but a hostel bench. Having explicitly asked Booking for an elevator to access the room, we saw four staircases in the basement covered in an indecent carpet. We gave up access because of our motor limitations. However, what we saw was enough to confirm Pessimo's judgment.

Inconsistent

Spent one night here. Lovely solid wooden house with lively restaurant serving local (and organic) food. Room was small but had everything and felt very cosy. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Kippel is a charming little place to wander through and we had a great walk from the end of the valley up to the glacier. A hidden-away treat.
