Goreme

El Nazar is in great location very close to town, with a fantastic rooftop terrace with views out to the fairy chimneys that dot the town. The room also had a small deck and was comfortable. Breakfast is not served until about 8:30, which is late for us. The restaurant does not operate after that but you can still go up on the deck. 
Be careful to book the shuttle back to the airport earlier than you need. We thought we had plenty of time booking it for 2 hours 10 minutes before our plane. But the driver was late by 20 minutes and then picked up people for 30 minutes. Then he stopped for a coffee! It was an hour to get to Kayseri and we got to the airport just 5 minutes before the check in counter was due to close. We ran and still had to wait in 2 lines for bag checks, so we were very stressed, coming from a country that will not allow check-ins if you are late. It is more relaxed here I guess, but I don't think the shuttle would really care if you missed your plane- and we had a connecting plane to catch as well.



Good Location

We stayed just two nights in standart room but I would like to stay more. The hotel was very clean. The rooms are very comfortable for  two people . They are serving open buffet breakfast on terrace. The view is excellent . The staff was very friendly I highly recommend this hotel for all people

Great Location and Exellent Breakfast with nice view

Super nice and pleasant hotel, clean and comfortable bed, welcoming staff, kind and very helpful. Hotel with terrace and panoramic views. Lunch is very good and cozy. Right in the center of Goreme and close to all shops and restaurants. I highly recommend

The El Nazar Cave Hotel does the trick if you are looking for the authentic cave feel at a great price.

Cleanliness - We felt it was very clean.  Come on, you're in a cave, for what they have to work with they do a great job with the cleanliness.

Bathroom - very cool.  We had the room with the big picture of Cappadocia on the glass door to the bathroom.  It was very spacious and the jet tub was a bonus.  Something was leaking slightly though so the rug in the bathroom was damp.

Location - perfect location.  not too far up in the hills and close to the restaurants, shops, and a short walk to the Open Air Museum.

Comfort - Very comfortable.  The staff even came in while we were out to turn on the heat for us before dark.  It was getting quite cold when we were visiting Goreme so this was a bonus; to come back to a cozy and warm room.  The room smelled damp but I think this just comes with the cave territory again, not much to do except install ventilation. 

Hospitality - Very friendly staff.

Amenities - wifi was good.  breakfast is included but there isn't much selection... might have been because we were there during non-peak times.

Cave Rooms in a Great Location

We've completed 3 days traveling around Cappadocia and have felt totally safe and secure. The breakfasts have included local cuisine with wide selection from the rooftop restaurant.The room is spacious, has a balcony view, refrig. and all standard amenities.  The staff has excelled in responding promptly to questions I raised following my booking, She arranged transfers, tours, items we didn't have with us.  3 tours and 2 transfers were on time at the exact rate quoted.

Where are US travelers?

The hotel was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Everything is good, clean and quite affordable for the conditions of Göreme. The rooms are very stylishly furnished and very clean. The staff at the reception and breakfast area are very friendly, very youthful. The breakfast buffet is well equipped and freshly prepared. The view from the restaurant over the old town of Göreme is impressive. Due to the central location, the small, friendly nostalgic hotel is highly recommended.

This hotel is very interesting! the room is very spacious and comfortable! the room also had a jacuzzi, which was very convenient because it was very hot! the owner and all the staff of the hotel were very friendly, and one could spend hours chatting with them.

What a wonderful experience!

This is a very interesting hotel in the Stone city of Gore me in Cappadocia. Rooms trying to look like they were built in one of the stone cave in the region. Most of the room have nice city views, the restaurant/breakfast saloon overviews the city. Good internet access and a very helpful and pleasant staff, always there to make you feel at home.

Intersting  and Fun

The hotel is beautiful, the room is made of stone like everything else, carpets and very well furnished in Turkish style. The best of all is the service. The receptionist really helps you in everything including organizing city tours and shuttles to pick you up and take you to the airport.

It is excellent.

Very romantic hotel, with a colorful interior and a fancy panorama! Careful staff. It feels like you're visiting good friends.)) The restaurant next to the hotel was very pleasant. In the evenings there is live music.)) Husband and child are also happy with everything. It's a pity we only had three days' rest.
