I booked a room months in advance , communicating regularly with the hotel, requesting a nice room with a balcony as I was arriving to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The room had THE worst view (run down car park) and a sorry excuse of a French balcony. 

I requested a room change to at least have a better view but was told there were no other rooms available. Regardless, I thought I’d carry on trying to make the most of my 3 day stay but on the same night, suddenly, without any warning, a drape had been placed outside my room and my room only! I asked at reception why no one informed me or why the drape was not securely fastened as it kept blowing into my room when the door was open and kept flapping all night due to the strong winds. I was unable to sleep due to the noise during my entire stay. They claimed it was for my safety(!) due to the ongoing renovations on the top floor… no work was being undertaken at any point the drape was put up and it was actually more of a hazard for me than safe! 
 
Even after putting in written complaints to management, no one was bothered to do anything, not even an apology. Given the fact that the drape was not safely secured, the safety of the hotel’s guests is not a priority to them. 

After leaving the hotel, I wrote my honest review on another platform and the hotel guest relations manager, Melissa, contacted me to offer the full refund I requested if I removed my review. Which I did, but sadly 2 weeks after their promise to refund, they have not and now they do not reply to my Watsap or answer my calls! Very deceiving tactics used by the hotel when, as a customer, I suffered greatly and they could not compensate me as promised. Very disappointed in Melissa (who seemed sympathetic but clearly not as no refund or response to my Watsapp messages) but in particular the hotel’s main management. 

I would most definitely not class this hotel as 4* and I am shocked that they define themselves this. My stay was ruined by the hotel staff and the circumstances the hotel put me under. 

Reading reviews on trip advisor, I can see that lack of customer service appears to be a common occurrence for guests staying at this hotel. 

Please be warned if things go wrong, for you, the hotel will not assist in any way! Very bad service for a supposed 4* hotel. 

The hotel photos across all platforms are very misleading as the rooms and surrounding areas do not look like the photos. 

The only saving grace is the hotel’s location which is close to many attractions. 

This situation could have been resolved with an apology at the time or even the slightest empathy shown by management and of course, to actually refund me as they promised, but they did not do either. 

Please book with caution.

Worst hotel and customer service

This was a good hotel me and husband stayed in for a week. The room and bed was a bit small but we managed. Room service was done everyday and they did a good job. They don’t provide shower gel/cream (didn’t bother me as I always bring my own) Lobby area is very clean and looks very posh. Receptionists are very sweet and welcoming especially Melissa and Seyhmus. Helped out a lot with advice and tourist information etc. Breakfast was ok obviously it’s Turkish style which I think we’re just not used to but still filled us up. Coffee was decent too. Spa facilities were nice 9am-10pm can get massage anytime. Receptionists answer phones any time of the day and we rang them often for random stuff we needed. I’d stay here again. Location is close to tramlines and lots of shops open till late nearby. 

4 Star Hotel 

This is NOT a four star hotel. The rooms are very small and noisy. There is a kettle in the room but you only get two teabags a day. You also only get a complimentary bottle of water on your arrival. The breakfast is ok but there was no provision of gluten free bread for my wife despite me emailing them well in advance of our stay. The situation is good for the sights and for getting about the city.

Disappointing



Dear Manager's

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with our current room and the service we have received. Upon our arrival, we immediately voiced concerns about our room not having any windows. The lack of natural light and ventilation has made us feel claustrophobic, and the overall environment is very unsettling.

Furthermore, I had mentioned that my father was finding it challenging to sleep in these conditions. Unfortunately, his lack of rest led to him feeling drained and resulted in a fall due to low energy. This could have been a serious health hazard and is deeply concerning for our family.

It has been three days since we first raised these concerns, and we feel like we are being messed around. We were under the impression that the hotel would cater to our needs, especially given the circumstances. I kindly urge you to address this situation as a priority.

We chose your hotel based on its reputation, and we genuinely hope our experience can be rectified immediately. We request an appropriate room change, as was promised on the first night. Please understand that our health and well-being are paramount.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We look forward to a swift resolution.

Nightmare! Hotel from hell!!

The hotel is cheating. The hotel was booked 2 months before we arrived. When we arrived we started telling some nonsense about the breakdown and that only tomorrow 40 rooms will be released at 6: 00 in the morning literally from them. We tried to move to a lower category hotel. The manager was absent. We were unable to cancel the booking, we are waiting and hoping now for a refund on the card... I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

The Liars

Hotel factory! the breakfast queue with very industrial products and nothing very fresh. the bread is dry, the buffet is fast jammed and the service does not follow... we waited for coffee cups and glasses for fruit juices well 10 minutes. the rooms advertised on the site are supposed to be large and spacious... we took advantage of an  offer  on the internet for the room at 110 euros instead of 438 euros. it was definitely a scam because our room (the 207) had no bathroom and was all ruined, with a small shower and ants in the dining room only making a trace! the only positive point of this small hotel is the location. even the bar is the dorag. the dorag. the swimming pool is disappointing, not requiring a small window (3 or 4 cents) and the hotel is a little bit of a scam for tourists.

Factory hotel with disaster service

Fantastic hotel good spacious rooms. Breakfast included and with good variety. Staff all very good very helpful and all issues dealt quickly - special thx to Mehmet always kind and supportive. Car park right opposite at 10€ per night 24hr access. 5*****

Top location Good Hotel, Kind & Helpful Staff

Not great!
Room was nice and well equipped. Beds comfy, good shower.
Poor breakfast. Coffee not great. No pastries.
Service at reception very poor. One guy served me with something from the bar whilst chatting on his phone the whole time.
Swimming pool area very run down and pool empty.
Sauna ok but indoor pool area very poor.
No minibar in room although this was supposed to be included.
Wish we’d made a different choice as we booked for three days.

Not a good stay

One of the worst experience I ever had. We stayed for one week in two rooms. Booked through a local agen in Jordan. At check in the rooms were clean. But the daily cleaning was the worst. They only make the beds without changing linen. Bathroom was not cleaned for few days. They only change supplies and towels. Door to the room balcony was broken, and when we complained they said that they could not fix it because it missing some parts and they could not change the room because they were full. Most of the staff were very rude and not helpful at all. Reporting all these problems several times with no action. At the end we had to clean the bathroom ourselves for hygiene purposes and because we had a kid with us. Not recomended at all. 

Terrible Experience

The room was too small with a view of the ruins, terrible and noisy. There were children in the corridor springing around and screaming ALL THE TIME. We couldn't rest!
Manager hasn't done anything about that despite many complaints. Breakfast was awful. The roof pool was very small. Spa was terrible, old and stinky. The only thing was good with the hotel was good location.
Definitely overpriced for this hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED!
