My husband and I stayed at Riva hotel and we are very impressed with the cleanliness, customer service of the staff especially the hotel manager of Esra. We recommend this centrally located hotel to anyone who wish to visit İstanbul.

Value for money, great customer services and very central location!

Certainly the worst hotel in Istambul. Rude staff with no skill at the front desk and poor customer service. When you get in they totally ignore you. The room is coming from the 70s with a huge need of refurbishment. Kettle not working so we asked for a replacement which we never got. Our door key was not working each time and we had to go to the reception each time to get someone with a master key to open it. I found a bug in the bathroom anyway the list could be long and we decided to get out of this hotel from hell after the first night. 

Terrible terrible terrible

Stayed twice at Hotel Riva Nisantasi in August. Large rooms, great location, close to Osmanbey Metro. Good service overall. On the negative side: no international channels, serves breakfast only and very basic offering. Also requested an alarm call and was called 41 mn late. But overall very good experience. Receptionist Alp was particularly pleasant.

Highly recommended for price, location, cleanliness and room size

Location and and excess to Metro is excellent. Hotel staff are nice, especially Mr. Kareem who has coordinated on the hotel booking. This is my 2nd trip as we have attended a exhibition which is walk-able distance. However only down side is on the hotel aircond. It's generally set at 27 degree in June !! Temperature outside is cooler than in the room. Each time we had to request for lower temperature and the lowest is 25 degree and last only for a while. The same had happen on the 1st time we have stayed. Next year, we will be checking on a different hotel.

Nisantasi is an area with high end shops

I stayed there from 28/12/2014 to 04/01/2015. Hotel 4 stars, clean, comfortable, with spacious rooms and a great cleaning service and recepticon. The rooms as I said are spacious, the heating of the room is perfect and the daily cleaning of the room is perfect. The showers are very comfortable with a good spray and temperature of the water perfectly adjustable, phon included in every bathroom. In the closet there is a safe, slippers, needle and wire, lucidascarpe. The hotel also provides free wifi. Located near the metro stop osmanbay is in the good area of Istanbul, a comfortable and quiet neighborhood full of shops and for this reason you can have a breakfast near the metro station.

I would recommend it!

Located in the modern part of Istanbul, it offers all the amenities nearby. It is conveniently located about 200 meters from Metro station Osmanbay, one stop and you arrive at Taksim. With two Metro line changes and about 10 stops you arrive at Sultanahmet (about 15 minutes). Very spacious, clean rooms, large and new bathroom. Very kind and available staff.

Good, recommended

i stayed at a hotel recommended by family - very nice location - high end part of istanbul but not very touristy in the Nisantas region of istanbul. it was easy to do shopping and get around. the upside was friendly and helpful staff, the downside was the hotel could do with some refurbishment. The breakfast was quite good.

great location, pleasant staff

I went with my colleagues to work as a reward for good results in May 2013. The hotel was good, but someone didn't turn on the air conditioning, and someone didn't turn off the air conditioning, breakfast was nothing, but nothing more.

It's a good hotel, but it could be better.

I visited Istanbul at the beginning of May 2013. I booked the Boutique Riva Hotel by accident and was very pleased! The location is perfect: next to the metro station, a neighborhood with many brand boutiques, expensive restaurants, interesting people and expensive network hotels. It is a very European smart part of Istanbul, where it is comfortable at any time of the day or night.

It's a great hotel, a great location.

The hotel's staff is friendly and hospitable, the rooms are large and clean, and the price is not high for this area (Nishantashi is a trendy area with shops and goods like Armani and good, although not traditional Turkish, restaurants). If you want to get into the hotel, you should consider that it is located in a European area and not in the old Asian part of Istanbul (which is more traditional for Turkey). The street, which costs about £10,000, looks like a public street in any city, but if you want to stay in Istanbul, you can get around 10 minutes from Istanbul, but if you want to go to Istanbul, you can get around 20 minutes from Istanbul.
