The location is wonderful. All shops and the lakeside  are walking distance. The rooms are large and clean. We were there when the weather was very cold but our rooms were as hot as possible.  The breakfast in the roof is very good with such a nice city and lake views. The staff is very friendly and helpful.  Osman the manager is there for you to make sure all is okey for everyone.  We will be back. Thank you for looking after us on our stay. 

In the heart of Tatvan

Advantage: room is big, free Turkish hamam 

Disadvantage: room smell, shower without movable caddy, breakfast without soup, reception no one speak English

Price a little bit expensive, but looks in tatvan all stars hotel are over price.

 I was two time at this hotel .every time one night.first time our  room was better and resption was more friendly.good point:room was big enough.good breakfast,good WiFi.good view for restaurant.
Weak point:bath room doesn't work well.and there wasn't shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

It's ok

This is probably a 3-star hotel, but is perfectly adequate for the needs of the traveller. The foyer is a little over the top, very grandly attired, and the rooms are also quite swanky. We had both our evening meal and breakfast here, and the food was excellent. The staff, although not English speakers, were charming and we got good service. My only regret was that it is dry, and I had to go out for beer. Do not sleep on the 7th floor as the restaurant is on the 8th floor.

A nice, clean hotel, with nice lakeside view

Arriving by ferry in rain, this was recommended by the security gatekeeper, and we went 3-4 km by taxi.  This is 3 star, and doesn't pretend to be 4; TRY110 single, TRY180 twin (with breakfast).  The water was hot, the wifi worked, there was an electric jug plus tea/coffee sachets in the room.  Breakfast is from 7.00, on the 8th floor overlooking the harbour.  I also had dinner there, an excellent lamb chops (one of my few nonkebab meals in 16 days).  Yes, no second sheet, but I was used to that in Iran.  The toilet was western.  Beer was room service: brought in by staff from a shop several minutes away.  If ever I am back in Tatvan, I would stay again.

Affordable comfort

The Mostar Hotel is in a bad location, on the side of the road and in a disadvantaged area, just below a gas station (hello smells if you open the window). The facilities, although recent, are already broken down, the electrical wires are unused in some rooms. The staff are kind but incompetent. No air conditioning. Very good breakfast.

if everything is complete

A good hotel, but very expensive compared to the area and the services offered: it was quite a restaurant when I arrived for dinner (obviously they were not expecting anyone, let alone a non-Turkish!), English more than symbolic, finishes that leave a wish in the rooms.
