Hello! Please remove the Golden gates hostel Kiev from Buking. It does not see the armour at all and does not track them. I booked a number on your website, but decided to reinsure and called them back in two days. He did not know of any armour from Buking.

Awful.

The location is very good, but it's difficult to find the building. The hostel should have signs about its location. I was only able to find it because I found another guest entering the building. I was a bit disappointed with the hostel, it was different from the ad, but considering the price, I think it can be considered fair.

A little different from the advertised

2.5 rating to me, This place is definitely just the basic accommodations. Slightly difficult to find, and a terrifying elevator ride to the 4th floor. But if you’re looking for simple, rough around the edges, cheap place to stay close to the action- this is your hostel. No English, have your translator ready or brush up on your Ukrainian 

Basic, no frills

I'm sure I'm not expecting service from such establishments, but there was an overabundance. As they say, because it was about too lazy to look for something, I decided to take a risk. The conditions are not the best... in principle you can take it. But I'll describe the main reasons why I never do more.

Hamlo-Admin can ruin the whole trip.

The hostel is located in the Golden Gate area - the center. The cost of a separate room for two is about 17 bucks. There is a kitchen, with dishes, though, there is a wild tension. The administrator is a little lazy, but clearly explained how to get there and even met. The two- or three-key room is a really good cheap option. The administrator is not present at the reception (let's call it a table and chair) constantly, it needs to be caught if you suddenly need, for example, a hair fan.

Hosted fifty by fifty.

Dirty, smelly. Beds are as scary as death. Feels like i got in to a horror movie. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Hard to find a stuff. The room that was booked was taken by someone else. The hostel is not easy to find. Has a tiny tiny paper on the door which tells you its here. Anyway. Never. Ever will advise to go there.

A dirty, scary place.

The staff is terrible, rude and unfriendly. The bathroom and the bathroom are very dirty, all in the mushroom.

There's no worse place.

There's mold on the walls, dirt everywhere, a cabinet-sized room (instead of a reserved room for two on 18 sq.m.), no kitchen, no offices that hang on the phone 24 hours a day and you listen to all the details because of the paper walls and doors, but through them you hear the breath of the guests in the other part of the building.)

Welcome to hell.

The staff girl dont clean the place at all..there is not social room to meet and talk..
Bathrooms and toilets are smelly and not cleaned for ages..
At the beds you can find somebodys hairs..
Not hygienic place!
I rate it as minus 10.

DIRTY SMELLY PLACE

This establishment is run as a hobby rather than a serious business.
I don't much from a hostel, but I expect to get a room after making a booking. I expect to find it at the given address rather than around the corner in a grimy yard. And I expect to find a member of staff somewhere on the premises.
After I'd been waiting around for half an hour or so, a resident (who'd been left waiting for hours when she arrived) told me there was a phone number posted on the wall - in the kitchen area (brilliant, hey?) I called this, and only an hour later someone arrived, looking put out at having to do her job. She examined my booking.com documents and briskly told me no room was available, in a tone that implied that was the end of the matter. After a little calm but firm insistence, I got her to arrange me a place nearby, the City Center hostel, which she said was owned by the same organisation. Once there, everything was fine.
When I arrived home a few days later, I received a notification from booking.com that Golden Gates had registered a no-show claim for me. Sheesh.
