We had such a fantastic and relaxing stay in this beautiful historic building.  We stayed in Room 4 which was huge, had a comfy bed and was equipped with everything we could have ever needed.  The village has a pub, farm shop and a few shops in walking distance which was perfect for our relaxing trip but there is also so much to see and do within a short driving distance if wanted.

Tracey and Steve were the perfect hosts - welcoming, warm and super friendly.  There was so much choice for breakfast and it was all cooked wonderfully.  Thank you so much for having us, we can’t wait to come back!

Just what we needed!

Lovely old house in great gardens, ideal for a restful stay.
We stayed in room 2 for 3 nights . Good size room. Well equipped.
Tracey and Steve are fantastic hosts.
We were greeted with scones and tea/coffee on arrival.
The hot tub use, with a drink from the well stocked honesty bar, was ideal.
Space to sit and chat or play games .
Breakfast was plentiful and good choice ( I particularly enjoyed the fruit, scrambled egg on toast and my husband the full English) 

There is a nice circular 45m aprox walk, direct from the B and B, through fields that takes in a pub in Ash village for refreshment.

Amongst the many things easy to get to.Sandwich is a lovely old town a short drive/taxi away with eating options. Deal is only approx 16m by car and howletts zoo 13m

Great House and Great Hosts

This B&B was more like a 5 star hotel in reality! It's a beautiful, rambling old house in a wonderfully tranquil and quiet location. Our room was huge, full of character, with a bed the size of a football pitch! Some lovely touches in the room too; White Company toiletries, fluffy white towels, and a couple of tiny brandy miniatures were a luxurious touch. Breakfast was HUGE, fresh, and utterly delicious. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you Tracy and Steve. 

Beautiful Manor House!

Molland Manor House is a beautiful building set in extensive well kept gardens.  Tracey and Steve are great hosts, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.  Our room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped with a fridge, microwave and some lovely little extra touches to make our stay special.  Breakfast was excellent and plentiful - enough to keep us going until dinner time! There was a plunge pool and hot tub in the garden, although we didn’t use these.  A helpful folder gave us lists of local restaurants and places to visit.  I would highly recommend a stay here.

Fabulous house and hosts.

We hired the whole house over the bank holiday weekend for my father in law’s 90th birthday celebrations.  The house is beautiful and full of character.  We were a party of 22 and there was loads of living space for all - huge dining room where we all ate together, large living room where we gathered for games and a bar room with a pool table.  Really well equipped.  Grounds also lovely too.  Our host Tracey was so helpful and friendly.  Magical place we’ll be back!

90th birthday celebrations !

We were down in Kent for a wedding, and my in-laws' house was packed, so we stayed up the road at Molland Manor and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was fantastic, the breakfasts were fantastic, and the entire atmostphere was beautiful and amazing. You feel both quite isolated but you're very close to the village centre. The house is immaculate but not cold, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We were able to have a nice relaxing morning and then go to our in-laws' in the village prior to the drive to the ceremony, so no one was stressed, everyone had hot water, and we had some delicious smoked salmon with our scrambled eggs in the morning.

Ash is a lovely village anyway, and I highly recommend a visit -- close to Sandwich, Deal, Dover, and of course Canterbury. Staying at Molland Manor would be a perfect hub if you're exploring areas of Kent but want a luxurious room to come back to.

Fantastic find. Tracey and Steve are excellent hosts and our stay exceeded our expectations in every way.
They have thought of every detail. Fridge, microwave, Sky TV, spa bath, powerful shower, large comfy beds, white company toiletries…
We were welcomed with scones and tea and advice on where to go, what to do and where to eat.
Nothing was too much trouble.
If we’re back this way, we’ll definitely be staying again.

Excellent stay…we’ll return

Sometimes in life you fall on somewhere that exceeds expectations by a long way, and this B&B achieved this.   From the moment we arrived and we’re met by our friendly host until we left four nights later we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

An exceptional historic house, with spotlessly clean rooms, lovely gardens and extremely helpful hosts.  We had local restaurants recommended to us, which were, without exception, excellent quality and value.  Their local knowledge was also helpful in planning our local days out.

The B&B provides a high quality breakfast, with lots of options from the traditional full English, which filled the plate, to a continental of meat and cheeses.  They also provide hot scones and tea on arrival.  They operate a reasonably priced and well stocked honesty bar. Fridge in the room and ample supply of tea, coffee etc.

Frankly if all B&B’s were this good you’d never bother with a hotel again.

Superb, welcoming and historic B&B

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Molland House in June with our dog who was made as welcome by Tracy And Steve as we were.
Lovely location, beautiful breakfast.
The room was clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee, a massive 6 foot bed, microwave and a fridge. Whirlpool bath and Aqualisa shower. Sky tv as well.
We also had warm scones with jam and cream and tea on arrival.
If we are down this way again this will be the my number 1 choice.

Wonderful stay.

My husband, myself and our little westie stayed here for two nights. It was amazing, Steve and Tracey where the perfect hosts, so very helpful . The room was luxurious with a spa bath and a super king size bed, plus lots of little extras. This break was very much needed after lockdown. The grounds are peaceful and  it's easy to walk into Ash. Breakfast was first class and there is even an honesty bar. to sit and have your favourite tipple. We would highly recommend Molland Manor for a little escape  tp get away from it all.
