The rooms are fine bathrooms need updating/deep cleaning of bathrooms. But that wouldn’t be anything I’d review about if it weren’t for the service we received. 

The receptionist (Jo) literally said to our faces “what do you want me to say” whilst we were complaining about a discrepancy between what their system said in terms of what was in our booking. I had all the confirmations on emails stating what was prepaid for and because the system didn’t say that she wasn’t willing to assist in any way. I don’t doubt that the system said one thing but our booking said another. But at the end of the day that’s premier inns problem not ours there was no intention to help. When we asked for a manager we were told there wouldn’t be one until 1pm, considering check out is by 12pm and this was at 8am, pre a 9hr drive home there’s no way I can wait until then. Taken further with premier inn (not that that’s been much more help) but all in all I hope anyone staying doesn’t encounter any issues as you’ll be rather disappointed.

We stayed here for 1 night before our trip to Disneyland Paris on the 31st March. Upon check in one of the other customers was complaining about the noise…..not a great start!
After reaching the room it was soooo hot in there! The room was disgusting nothing like the ones advertised on tv total misrepresentation, the curtains were so dirty we didn’t want to touch them. My husband wouldn’t even have a shower as the bathroom was so dirty and old and tired. My daughter’s socks were black from the carpet.
This place is disgusting more like a grotty  B&B!

Awful tired hotel

We stayed here as a stop over before getting the tunnel. The first room we had was in the annex and smelt badly of damp, was very dated and needed updating. We were in a family room and when lying on the single bed it was horrendous with springs poking through. We went to reception who agreed to move us to the main hotel. This room did not smell of damp and seemed better, however the single bed was awful. My two daughters ending up sharing one single bed as the smallest bed was so uncomfortable.
We had friends staying in another family room and their experience was similar. 
We definitely did not have the 'good nights sleep' that Premier Inn guarantee. We won't be returning! 

Uncomfortable nights sleep. Avoid the Annex

We stayed here Friday the 29th of march before driving to France we normally stay here 4-5 times a year and its perfectly ok convenient for the euro tunnel but this stay has put me off for life i think it was disgusting the toilet seat was dirty the bed was dirty the radiator was disgusting there was mould in the room i cannot believe it was left in this state

DISGUSTING never again

There were spores in room our room and the hotel had a musty/ damp smell all over. Terrible water pressure meant a weak shower and blocked toilet. Broken curtain rain on arrival. Cold room. Inattentive staff in reception and bar. Tired and old hotel overall. 

Poor Housekeeping ruins stay

After reading the reviews we nearly cancelled. However we had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and bed was comfy. We didn’t have any noise disturbance, it was warm but manageable with a fan. Guy in the reception seemed lovely. Was better than we were expecting. 

Better than expected

Convenient hotel, a short stop from the Eurotunnel, restaurant on site, parking available for motorcycles in view of the CCTV. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was of a fair size to relax in with the bar and restaurant just across the drive.

Motorcycle trip to Europe

28C at 4am, 30C at 0840. Just one pretty ineffective  fan. Partner has heart condition. I felt queasy all night and had to lie with wet towels on me all night. Very little sleep, not safe for long drive following day. Cos no Air con, not covered by good night guarantee. Won't be back until air con is fitted
 All this on a dull day at end of September. Who knows what it had been like in the hot weeks

We stayed purely out of convenience for the channel tunnel. The hotel is run down and in need of updating, the room was dingy. I couldn’t sleep because the room was unbearably warm all night even with the window open. I would stay again for the convenient location if travelling using the channel tunnel, but this hotel is really expensive for how basic and poor the facilities are.

Functional only

Stayed for one night ahead of an early crossing the next day with the aim of resting after our 4 hour drive from home. Things didn't work out as planned as our room was excruciatingly hot. The hotel had informed us that it didn't have air con but we didn't think that would matter seen as it was only about 25 degrees when we arrived. Unfortunately because the windows also don't open far at all we were not able to get any air in and we roasted. A fan was supplied but this made no difference. We ended up soaking the towels in cold water and trying to catch some rest with them draped on our bodies! We left at 4am because we were so uncomfortable. 
The hotel in general is typical Premier Inn, very clean and tidy and the location was great but we simply can't risk staying again. It was hotter than the sun!
