The train station is opposite the bus station with regular services that stop close to the hotel. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming and check in was fast. Our room was great, on the ground floor and overlooking the car park. (A nice one 🙂). There is an industrial park a 15 min walk away with a number of retail outlets and places to eat. Gloucester North parkrun very close but disappointingly cancelled the weekend we were there. I did Gloucester City instead though and that was very enjoyable.

Easily accessible by bus

We had a warm welcome. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, working TV and a nice hot shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room also, which we enjoyed a cuppa on the evening.

Cheap and comfortable

I was disappointed by this hotel. One of the older ones in the portfolio and showing its age. It was clean and staff were helpful but the room was one of the smallest Premier Inn rooms I have ever stayed in. No space between the bed and the narrower than normal desk and a tiny bathroom. Also, no air-conditioning and no lift and not the best soundproofing. No Plus rooms are available either. It does have ample parking though. The city centre is a half an hour walk away along a busy road. I stayed in the Premier Inn at Gloucester Quays a week earlier. It is significantly better and well designed and is worth paying a little extra for, given the choice.

Gloucester Quays is much better

Our two night stay proved to be a look after yourself break, you have a bed what more do you want.
The receptionist was climbing over the desk as she had locked herself out of the office on arrival.
We had a ground floor room with noisy air conditioning and bathroom fan.
We requested dry towels and the room to be made up only to come back in the evening to find neither had been done. The bed was unmade the cups unwashed and wet towels still in the bath.
We complained to reception who brought clean towels and took away wet ones. So we made our own bed and washed up. Is this normal?


Poor Service this time

This Premier Inn is lovely. Free car park, great location and has a Beefeater restaurant nextdoor.
The receptionist was lovely and welcoming.
We had a room on the ground floor which was lovely and clean and the sofa bed had been made up for my daughter.
We even got a welcome note and a packet of sweets from Rachael, thank you.
There was an issue with the WiFi but staff had reported it to Virgin and it wasn't the hotels fault.
We will definitely stay here again 😊

Lovely Midweek stay with daughter 

Standard Premier Inn but could use some sprucing up. The room was small but adequate and I did sleep well. There was banging about in the room above us, which I imagine had children in. There was plenty of free parking. The Beefeater on site was good and the cooked breakfast was done to order rather than a buffet. The location is a 20 minute walk from the city centre and close to the rugby  stadium. 

Standard Premier Inn needing some redecoration 

This is the second time we have stayed at the Premier Inn in Longford and we enjoyed it just as much. Friendly service, a clean room (thanks Rachel) and as always a very comfortable bed. 
The Beefeater is next door where we always have a tasty breakfast and a lovely evening meal. The staff there are very helpful, efficient and friendly. 

Great stay, quiet, clean and comfortable room

I have stayed in 4 premier inn hotels this week across the ulk and none of them had orange juice at breakfast. It's been replaced with a cheap tropical juice.  

A first world problem but I will stay else where if this continues 

No Orange Juice in 4 hotels this week?

A couple of friends and I came from London for a business event the next day.  We checked in after dinner planned elsewhere (for no reason related to the hotel), arriving just before midnight.  The check in was smooth. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful throughout.  The room was also made up to a high standard with all the conveniences I needed, except an iron.  However, at some time well after midnight I went to reception to request an iron and there was no problem getting one.  There was a generous selection and offering for both Full English/cooked and Continental breakfast, and it tasted great.  Very happy with my stay here. This was my first stay as a Premier Inn Guest and I’d definitely stay here again.

Definitely the place to stay!

Hotel tired on the outside. Needed a wash or paint. Room ok but right outside our window was a chimney and that was noisy must be connected to hot water system. Disturbed our sleep. Had to have window open
For ventilation so could not avoid noise from outside window reception was always empty.
