Welcome was great room was of a high standard.cooked breakfast was of a very high standard.owners were welcoming and had a nice chat over breakfast.even though the owners had a lot to do to get ready for next guests,you didn't feel rushed to leave.

Relaxing after wedding

Travelling down to Kent for a wedding we wanted somewhere nearby and this was perfect. They were very accommodating allowing us to drop off our bags before the normal time. The room was modern, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked and with high quality ingredients. Great to chat to the owner about his visits to Brentwood Lido - something we had not heard of but it had been closed for some years before we moved to the area.

Overnight after attending a wedding

From when we pulled up on the driveway we were greeted by the owners with a very warm welcome and once inside the front door I knew we were going to enjoy our stay! 
It was spotlessly clean and tidy and very well decorated so I couldn't wait to see our room. We had the yellow room with a lovely ensuite, again very clean and fresh! The bed was so comfortable! 
There was a great choice for breakfast and to sit in the kitchen diner and have it cooked by the owner was lovely. Very nice people and we would recommended a stay here to anybody because we were made to feel so comfortable! Great value for the personable service compared to larger corporate hotels we have stayed in. We would gladly return here. Tara & Simon from Bedfordshire

Very warm welcome and a Fantastic stay!

Spent two nights here. Greeted by our host and our bags carried to the room. Lovely, very clean room, pretty comfortable. You are given keys to come and go as you wish. We had excellent weather but I wonder if more time had to be spent in the room there were no comfortable chairs and, although the breakfast room was adjacent to a sitting area, no indication that there could be use of a sitting room as many B&Bs do these days. Also, whilst in the main seemed fairly quiet, there is a bit of noise from traffic in the morning and you can hear the other residents doors etc and the water system (showers in use?).
There are three rooms to accommodate six people, rooms are on the first floor accessed by stairs, breakfast is served at a communal table and you see the owner cooking as this is an open kitchen/diner/sitting room. The decor was fresh, the B&B very clean throughout. Breakfast was very nice, freshly cooked. You are asked to complete a form the night before indicating what you want for breakfast and the time you will be down. There is a very good selection available.
This was a very pleasant place to stay.  Good situation for Hythe, M20 and the attractions of Kent. I would recommend. 3.75 - 4 stars

The Corner House, Saltwood, Hythe, Kent - Above average

Comfortable room with all the usual facilities. Good quality shower. All very clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly/helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast with wide selection to choose from in addition to the usual English breakfast. Breakfast is selected in advance in the evening so that the fish choices can be served fresh. 

We liked the comfortable bed, the friendly hosts and the very high standards.

The B&B is near to a bus stop for the railway or Hythe town. The walk to Hythe is downhill so allow a few more minutes to get back up the hill. 

We feel that the quality of the B&B gives very good value for money we would be pleased to use again.
