Worst Nightmare ever! We booked it through airbnb. The house is fully packed. Families living and cooking in one room and doïng their dishes in the shower. To dirty to take a shower. Grease everywhere and a very bad smell.
We paid 500 Pounds. And never get to reach Gareth the owner. We made a complaint through Airbnb but it was waved by paying back 50euro :((

The rooms are totaly not what is offered in the pictures.

DO NOT STAY THERE!!! This is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. Mold everywhere and no service at all.

I stayed one week at a studio apartment (twinbed) with a friend. First off, the address is not the same as the hostels address. The studio apartments are round about 1,5 kilometers to the west.

But the worst thing is that there ist mold everywhere!! You cannot stay in the studio apartment. The smell is terrible! Also the apartment was not clean at all. But the smell of mold and drainage is horrible!!!

We tried to transfer to a new room but the staff will ignore your problems. I have never before encounter such a terrible service.

Again, DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

After being forced to pay in cash for my arrival on my return to Madrid, I was surprised that I was charged the same amount on the card, it was tempted with Booking.com and both these and the hotel did not solve anything for me.

I don't recommend it at all.

The place is expensive compared to the other hostels, it has very good hot water. The rest is forgotten. The kitchen is a mess. It's dirty. No one cares only about worrying, because if you take a beer. No I recommend it.

A place to stay.

The price is good, but compared to others it is expensive. The cleaning is bad, the rooms smell dirty, the bathrooms dirty. The people who sleep in the room stay until any hour and no one says anything. Now you open a beer and they say no, they could do the cleaning. No one cleans the dishes. There are 6 vases in total. The employee waited for us badly. The positive thing is that the water was going out very well!

The appearance is deceptive.

I've stayed in the hostel from the 19th to the 25th of August and I found really pleasant. Met few nice people around: really good atmosphere. The building is okay, the rooms are decent size and toilets are clean - so no complaints at all!

Totally worth value for money

I came to London in July with a bunch of friends and we booked a private room for 4 in the hostel. The place was actually really good we had such a good time! Very clean and good for young people!! The room was bright and clean as well!! 

Nice stay

Good place. Came with girlfriend in London for holidays! The room was good and clean! The wifi not working sometimes but nice people around! We didn't spend much so it's perfect! You walk 10 minutes for the tube or you have buses all night so perfect to go out! The lounge and garden are amazing!! 

Good stay

I have stayed at 247 London Hostel many times over the past few years and it's about time i wrote a review. it's now my go-to budget accomodation in London! ;-)

Great central location, minutes walk to Kilburn Underground Stn. and busy Kilburn High Rd with shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants etc. Situated on a quiet residential street.
There's a large comfortable lounge/dinning area, which provides a very good social, focal point for the hostel. There's also a large well equipped kitchen and large garden. I like the security here. The dorms have lockers and all rooms have locks on the doors. 
The staff have always been friendly and helpful, just ask!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hostel to other travellers!

My go-to budget accommodation in London...

Very pleasant stay. Was as nice as a hotel, great bathroom and solid location. Have no complaints with my experience and would highly recommend to people looking for an affordable and nice place to stay in London.
