The rooms vary in size; some are quite small, but the atmosphere is great; wonderful lounge will newspapers and breakfast and bar area. Helpful staff. The best part is the location; one block from Sloane Square and not far from Victoria Station.

Rooms are somewhat small, but atmosphere very appealing

We reserved dinner for four after having cocktails in the lounge. Dinner was pleasant and the food was very good, however, the prices were a bit startling, even though we know London is expensive. It was a tad too stuffy, so we chose not to return when we were in London about 10 days later. Our club has reciprocity with the Sloane, so we thought we would try it and were glad we did, but there are so many other places equally as nice. 

Private, yet not!

A really wonderful place to stay for a combination of sheer comfort, convenience and first class service all in a very understated typically English way which marks it out as being one of the finer establishments to stay in central London. The Sloane Club provides everything to ensure a hassle free and comfortable stay - it really is a joy to stay here every single time. I took the liberty of ordering lunch my wife's lunch on Saturday prior to attending a social event knowing that it would be so good and of course it was even better than anticipated - now that is when you know that you are truly in the right place ! Utter bliss comes as standard here and should be enjoyed because the staff appear to delight in your comfort and happiness.

Peace and Understated Service of Exceptional Quality

A group of us from University meet annually with partners to reminisce over a gentle meal in a private room.  Until recently, this had been a dinner meeting but with distant travel getting ever more difficult with age we moved to a lunch.

Bubbly served as we arrived and then the group of us made our way into our room for lunch. As usual, about 24 of us sat down to lunch, which had been pre-ordered. My wife, who does not eat meat was very happy with the starter (a cod fish dish) and happy again with her fish main course.  The meat eaters were served pork loin and both dishes were accompanied by a selection of vegetables, all cooked very well. Desserts, followed by coffee were very good and, with the room to ourselves, we stayed long talking.
This is an ideal venue for such a get-together with most attendees coming from all over the U.K

Small lunch in Private room

The apartment was just down the road from the club (two minutes' walk), and was just stunning. Brand new everything. Great bed. Great bathroom.

The one fly in the ointment was that the desk told me that there was a charge to hold bags on the day of checkout. That fee was waived when I asked, but I do not expect such a fee or find such a fee acceptable.

The bar at the club is available to overnight guests. Don't expect anything hip, romantic, or stylish. It's very brightly lit, which is a very nice accommodation to its many older guests.

Stunning apartment!

We stayed with chums a fortnight back when the weather was bitingly inclement  -  thankfully the warm and hospitable welcome at The Sloane Club more than compensated for this.  We had a lovely room at the back overlooking the communal gardens, the room itself was recently refurbished and had everything necessary for a very pleasant stay.  Just delightful  -  and what a treat.

A treat

Came across the Sloane Club through an article in Country Life and decided to give it a whirl on a 2 day visit to London. Arriving at Heathrow we took the tube to Sloane Square (one change at Hammersmith) and there we were 5 mins away from the Sloane Club. I really like old buildings/hotels and the Sloane Club didn't disappoint. It had a very high end feel to it and being a club, you feel and appreciate the difference that adds to the ambience. Bedroom was very nice looking out over the garden. Staff were very pleasant and professional - nothing was too much effort. Absolutely loved my stay - and will certainly try to re-book on my next visit. Happy to recommend.

Just Delightful!

Really enjoy my stay there, found the rooms comfortable and cosy, like the updated bathrooms as well.
Have stayed many times in London but this place is my favourite so far...
Did like the fact that you can order their fluffy pillows and bed linens. I like the location. Nice breakfast the next day.

Lovely stay

We booked through Secret Escapes.  It's a private members club in Lower Sloane Street that opens up some rooms to the public.  The location is excellent and when you get inside you can feel the history of the place.  Loved the pictures along the corridor.

We had breakfast but felt that we were over-looked in favour of members and found it quite pretentious but other than that it was a lovely stay.

The Sloane Club is incredible and very special. I love the location, right near Sloane Square and a short walk to the tube station. 
There is a bit of Sloane Ranger in me, I guess, from the old days, when I used to live there! I can wear my Trilby hat from Lock & Co. quite comfortably. I like those old style English country values and the quiet London conservatism.  These values are all present here and it is reassuring!
The rooms are beautifully appointed with a true London designer feel to them. They have the Oliver Messel white-on-white feel to them. Spacious, quiet and with great desk space and wi-fi which I love. The laundry service is fast, not expensive and incredibly good quality (same day), so it is perfect for me when I am busy in meetings. The restaurant meals are first class.  The light meals in the lounge (available most of the time) are tremendous when I am on the move. The breakfasts ought not to be missed. They are old school English country style and good value and/or espresso style coffee and homemade croissants, par excellence!  
The staff are superb, from the lounge to the restaurant, concierge and front desk. Train tickets down to the country, no problem, even when there was a strike!  They are a real team there and deliver winning points, 24/7, as good teams do.  
The manager, Tony Murkett, has it running like a precision clock, and all the parts work perfectly. He is also very friendly and helpful, like all the staff. There is always a warm welcome there whenever I go back.  It is a Club, so this keeps the prices down for great value. But the apartments can be rented and access is available to the Club through reciprocal clubs around the world.  
I recommend it, its great value and the super friendly staff, highly. It is my London place away from home, proof that the Sloane Ranger is not extinct and my Sloane Square sanctuary.
