Booking.com have now lost a customer who books a lot of hotels through their site due to their lack of understanding and refusing to refund me for my stay in an absolute hell hole that is clearly a health and safety hazard!!  
We stayed in the property an hour and a half - much of this on the phone to booking.com customer services!  
I know it was cheap and didn't expect a palace but I didn't expect somewhere I couldn't bear to spend the night!
Was greeted by a rather unhelpful guy who didn't know what we had booked, showed us to our room on the ground floor and just left us to it after going to get us a key which we were them informed there wasn't one!
Damp up the walls, leaking radiator which had damaged the laminate, bedsheets with holes and blood on them, filthy kitchen, dining area with dirty washing all over the floor and table, bathroom with pedestal not attached to the sink, No key for our room door and a lock that was difficult to work from the inside, stench of cannabis throughout the whole house, floorboards at the doorstep had disintegrated causing me to trip as I was leaving the building. The fireworks signalling the local drug delivery topped it off! 
The booking in system was a notepad that had people's names and booking numbers, just left on a radiator in the hall for anyone to see! GDPR at it's best! 
Paid for breakfasts that were advertised as full english/Irish and continental - have no idea where these were being cooked or exactly what as the cupboards and fridge were bare! To be honest though we wouldn't have risked eating there after seeing the state of the facilities! 
Honestly I'd rather pitch a tent at the local rubbish dump!

VILE!! STAY AT YOUR PERIL!

Stayed here for a night with some friends while we went to a concert.
The place is a good distance from the city centre and it will cost you around £15 to get there.
The place is in a fairly run down part of Manchester. Shared bathroom and not clean at all and it looks shabby doors cracked etc and stinks of weed.
Please don't stay here you can get better for your money. 

Rubbish

Booked weeks in advance for 8 girls to celebrate a 21st Birthday in Manchester. 
Turnned up and nobody answered the door.  After calling the sister hotel we were greeted by someone who informed us it was double booked and there was nowhere for us to stay.  
8 girls stranded in Manchester!!!
Sister hotel then won't answer the phone.  
Ended up having to pay over £700 to get enough rooms for us all to stay in 1 hotel!!!!
Has now been passed to trading standards for investigation.

Fraud

As the coordinator, I had to plan and book a guest house for 15 members of the Watoto choir. I was a bit unhappy, to be honest, as the kitchen and the washing machines didn't seem to work, and although I was assured that it was working and so we had to look at sorting food out elsewhere and doing laundry. Overall the house was ok but not great.

WATOTO

Arrived in a rough looking area and thought "please let this be the wrong place". Rang the doorbell and was instantly greeted by the smell of weed when the door was opened. The guy didn't know where the key for our door was so said for us to tell him when we were leaving so he could lock it for us. We didn't find the ladder for the bunk bed until the next day (hidden behind the wardrobe). The double bed on the bottom bunk was so lumpy it was awful and the top bed swung wildly about whenever I turned over. Dim lighting and no mirror in the room but the worst thing was the lack of even a glass in the room to get tap water. We had a good laugh but please don't stay here.

No shit...I don't know why this guy keeps this place open.The bathroom sucks with the hair on the floor and a floor that's about to rot...the wifi was down like always.The room light was broken.The shower had the same jet pressure as has one that's peeing.The windows are in plexiglas and in the morning they're frozen from the inside...no word...
