Amazing food and service, with a luxurious atmosphere. The hotel is well kept and one of the finest I have ever seen. Outside there is an amazing playground for children and a great vibe to the seating outside. There stone baked Pizzas are amazing! along with their cool served beverages.

Great Service and Atmosphere

Enjoyed our stay on Saturday. Lovely cosy fires in the bar and lounge area. 
Our family room was comfortable and warm and shower was great . Access was via quite a steep stair and it was a little  tired in decor but beds very comfy and clean. 
Bar meal was very good. Best Steak Pie I have ever had ! Breakfast was good too and the staff were  excellent . 
Would hope to return one day .

Good stay in Newton Stewart

A great family run hotel set in lovely surroundings minutes walk from the market town of Newton Stewart and about 30 minutes from the ferry ports at Cairnryan near Stranraer for the short crossing to Northern Ireland (Stena to Belfast and P&O to Larne).
There is a cracking bar with roaring fire on cold days and a great selection of ales, beers and whiskies,  the restaurant has a wide range of wonderful meals using local produce.
There are a couple of lounges with very comfy seating and warming fires.
The staff are most friendly and helpful.

A wee gem of a hotel

Warm and welcoming the fireplaces were  lit just what was needed on a cold one night January stay. Staff  and service was friendly and attentive we had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant and drinks in the well stocked bar the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from

Our first visit for a meal in the Restaurant. It's a lovely cosy traditional hotel plenty of people in the bar and the restaurant soon filled up. Service quick, efficient and friendly and really good choice of all courses and the food was excellent and will definitely return. 

Excellent Food 

Recently stayed here for 2 nights B&B with our two dogs,staff could'nt have been more friendly and helpful,room nice and clean and food very nice.would certainly recommend to other dog owners and will be staying again in the future.

relaxing break

Spent a few days at Creebridge and it was absolutely great. The staff really make this hotel! Very friendly, professional, but humorous and considerate. The evening meals were enjoyable and tasty. Breakfasts were traditional, had excellent ingredients and were presented with a smile. 
The rooms we used were clean and warm, maybe a little too warm, but much better than being cool. 
It is quite quaint in some ways, but this only adds to the ambiance of the place. 
We will return, and as there is little staff turnover, we’re sure to meet the staff again. A little gem.

A gem.

We booked the Creebridge on recommendations from our cottage host. Called in advance to book as it was a Friday evening for dinner and we had our dog to cater for as well. Staff on the call were extremely helpful and sorted our booking no problem.
On arrival our table was clearly marked with our name and time of booking. Bar staff were busy with both bar and restaurant orders and we felt right away we had made a good choice. Small bar area with a few locals and visitors in led to a lovely atmosphere. Extensive menu for food and we went for Katsu curry on the specials and the lasagne from main menu. Both dishes were of good portions and well prepared ( the lasagne had great mince!) and neither of us felt we could manage desserts.
Good stock of local drinks - gin, whisky and local beer all very good (five kingdom ales were very nice)
We went back for drinks to the extensive garden bar area on other occasions and for dinner again and always received a great welcome and would recommend anyone visiting Newton Stewart to pop in.

Great food and people - lovely outdoor area to and very dog friendly🐶🍺

I came down with my wee dog, and she was made to feel like a princess. There was nothing that Sarah and her team would not do for us. The food is fantastic and pleanty to go round. The atmosphere in the hotel is friendly, warm, and inviting. My room was nothing short of stunning and really big. It had a jacquizi bath and a shower. Totally amazing, and the bed was also huge and very comfortable. 

Creebridge house hotel is hotel heaven

8 friends ate here.  Standard pub grub not restaurant quality.  Had better fish and chips elsewhere.  Staff were friendly and helpful.  Others in our party had generally acceptable pub standard food.
The food was not what we expected especially having read earlier reviews.
