The excellent truth is that the new owners are Alejandro an excellent person just like the woman the rooms are very comfortable and very well equipped and the breakfast is to highlight very abundant i was 3 nights excellent plus very good price thanks.

By no means coincided the booking description about the hotel's amenities.Everything very basic.Elementary cleaning, Furniture in poor condition.Good breakfast.I had to wait half an hour between a bathroom and another.

New hotel in the city.

My wife and I spent 2 nights with no advance reservation, getting their last room on Easter Eve.
We arrived at Colonia Bus Terminal at 2 PM, then walked 600 meters west to this older hotel. 
The Spanish speaking receptionist had us fill in the registration book before escorting us up 2 sets of stairs to our 2nd floor room in the back.  The small carpeted #20 had 2 twins with nightstands, shelved closet, desk with chair, refer, wall TV(HBO in English), window opening to an inner courtyard, and nice tiled bathroom with stall shower and soap.
The 7AM buffet breakfast includes OJ, yoghurt, cereal, fresh fruit, medialunas, cakes, coffee, tea, and hot milk.  Good secure internet was only available in the lobby/breakfast room.
We walked 350 meters west to the Basilica, 200 meters north to Super USA supermarket, 600 meters northeast to the Costanera Ramblas. This well managed 20 room hotel is very well located.

Nice hotel just off  the 1995 UNESCO Historic Quarter.

Very nice hotel. Good care and service. Nice and affordable, with breakfast included. It has air conditioning, freezer and phone in the room. The Wi-Fi internet has a low signal on the second floor, but it works well at the reception.

Very pleasant!

I didn't stay to sleep, we just booked a room for a few hours to shower and change rooms because we were having a wedding. So I could see it is a budget hotel, very well located next to the old town. The reception is very nice and polite. The room is small, with TV and air conditioning. No taste of the bed, neither breakfast. Good water pressure. Correct, economical and without luxuries.

It is well located, close to the old town, and in a central area with all amenities.The room, although small, has all the necessary equipment and is like the bathroom and the rest of the facilities, very clean.The continental breakfast, very well.It is remarkable the attention of the staff, very friendly and with very good readiness to any request.

We stayed here for 2 nights . The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to try to be helpful.  They did not speak english but we managed well.  Breakfast was just coffee, juice and pastries.  The hotel was clean, very old though and way overpriced.  It was very quite at night, location was good.  We booked on booking.com but the rates were actually cheaper if you came to the door.  That was dissapointing,

Good location but overpriced

We felt this hotel was overpriced for what it was. The staff were great and the place was relatively clean but old and tired. At $70US per night it is not a bargain. I have stayed in better for $40 per night

You get what you pay for

In an overpriced town, this place provides good value. Had a twin room on the ground floor. Rooms are clean and newish. Bed a bit too soft for me, but shower was strong and warm. Staff okay, no English so Google Translate was helpful. No lift. Breakfast at 8 am has not much choice but is filling and tasty.
