This place is very very quiet, pretty and safe. Plus is located near by the downtown.  Swimming pool is cleaned it every day and you are allowed to use it day and night. Garden all green and nice trees all over the place, they bring a lovely shade.
Breakfast is served every day at 7:30 and you can find toasts with butter and variety of sweet jams and  also a variety of cakes, fresh fruit, coffee, milk and herbs.... plus natural orange juice.  They also have a “quincho” with a refrigerator to keep some food and drinks, and you can make an “asado”... cook a barbeque...
Rooms have a nice A/C, I recommend to use the opcion dry... because of the high humidity. They are nice and cozzy and have their own tv and private bathroom (only shower nor a bath lol).  
in the corridors there are hammocks.. very comfortable....
I gotta say that I like very much the place... and I hope u enjoy it too.
Ps: the city has some issues with the power light..... but is kinda fun be off line and in the darkness for a little while 🙃

When we arrived we thought the place was nice but as soon as we entered the room we realised it was dirty. The toilets are smelling urine and the room smells of mould. There is a sign on the door saying that the room will be cleaned once every 2 days, we stayed 4 days and the room was never cleaned. The breakfast is very poor: slices of bread, some undrinkable coffee and only some mangoes fallen from the tree in the garden, very disappointed!

Very dirty place not recommended 

During a trip to Buenos Aires we managed to escape the hustle and bustle and head to Puerto Iguazu. When we arrived at Posada Colibri - we couldnt believe our luck - a beautiful pool, very nice spacious room, access to both a kitchen/fridge, or a bar and restaurant depending on what you need, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and very cute dogs! Great location as it was far enough from the city to be quiet, and with close enough for walking distance. Also very affordable!! Thanks for having us guys.

The Cherry on top of our Tropical Holiday

The room was smelling molt and we didnt even find hot water to take a shower when we arrived. Later when we asked  what is going on with the water the lady said we have to turn the water on to a specific pressure(needed ages to finish a normal shower).... the water in the shower was going all over the bathroom so if you wanted to visit the room after that you had to put shoes on. The aircondition was so noizy and the bed uncomfortable so i had a terrible back pain the day after. we went for breakfast there was only some slices of bread left and none was there to help you. (Breakfast only with bread and some croissants coffee and tea). That was all.oups sorry and 2 hundred old apples and some slices of papaya wich was ok. 
Not worthy for sure! 



Not re commended

We stayed in a private double en suite room at Rio Selva for 2 nights.
We worried ourselves when looking for accommodation in Puerto Iguazu, as most places seemed to be full of terrible reviews, so we didn't book anywhere. Luckily, Rio Selva were able to accommodate us, in a great room that wasn't anywhere near as expensive as we thought it might be. The room was huge, with good AC and a fan, and well sealed against mosquitoes. The bathroom was OK, with probably the best electric-head shower we found in South America.
Breakfast was pretty basic, but OK. There were nice gardens and a good size pool, but we didn't use it.
We would definitely recommend staying at Residencial Rio Selva.
