I was concerned prior to arrival, as the price was extremely reasonable. However, I should not have worried, it is a bargain. The hotel is situated in the beautiful Old City, minutes from a selection of restaurants. The breakfast room is on the top floor and has views of the Caspian Sea and Baku. Breakfast is a buffet and there were some vegetarian items. One of the group was afflicted by sudden chronic back pain during the flight. The reception staff particularly Azar ( hope I spelled that correctly ) were extremely helpful and kind. Assistance included -calling an ambulance, liaising with a clinic and medics who visited the hotel. They also checked on him when we were out. Absolutely 5 star service from unfailingly courteous and helpful staff. Thank you for making our stay so special and caring for our friend.
