Secret Rooms Sarajevo

Not my first visit to Sarajevo, but surely one of the most memorable ones. Traveled with two more friends and booked two double rooms at Secret Rooms B&B. Winding, hilly streets took us to Alifakovac where on the outside the place looks just like the rest of the traditional houses in the neighborhood, however on the inside we were pleasantly surprised by the mixture of old&contemporary styles when it comes to furniture and decor of the rooms, not to mention the luxury of having a bathtub in the center of the room! Moreover, being on a hill overlooking the old part of the town, the view was amazing. Our host; Maja turned out to be warm, lively and quirky, a real gem of a person. The spacious and comfortable kitchen and living areas are naturally shared with other guests so if you are lucky as we were, you get to arrive just on time for dinner made by a professional chef staying in a room next door, and also meet some rather interesting people. Other advantages: B&B is only a five-minute walk from Bascarsija. Free parking on the location.
