Hotel Kovači

Hotel was really easy to find from Bascarsija tram stop and really handy for Old town.

Room was pretty good size and bathroom was great as well. Breakfast was little basic free and coffee was great.

The people who ran it were really helpful too.

Don't believe you will find better location in Sarajevo. It is right at the edge of Bascarsija and at the begining of pitoreskue street with small coffe shops, bar, etc. Even supermarket is few steps away. Facility is run by family and they are true representatives of famous Bosnian hospitality. You will be treated like friend or family from the very first contact.

This hotel is in the best location. The street it is on is one of my favourite streets in the city, it is close to a tram stop and across the street from the sebilj (pigeon square). All the major sites are a short distance away. My room was quiet, clean and well appointed. It had everything I needed. The breakfast is pretty small, but again had the necessary basics. The hotel is most definitely great value for your money!

I stayed in this hotel multiple times and I loved it every single time. This is a small hotel but it has many unique features. The location is amazing, you are just across from Sebijl in Bascarsija. The owners are delightful and very very nice people. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. 

The breakfast was okay. There is a parking in front of the hotel but you have to notify the owners to make room for you. If not, there is a paid parking near by and it costs 20 Bosnian marks for overnight parking. The main tramway stop is steps away from the hotel and all the main attractions are very close. 

I go back to this hotel whenever I travel in Bosnia. Highly recommended.

I'm often on Sarajevo on business, and this is my home away from home.  The Innkeeper will prepare eggs to order or accommodate any special dietary requirements.  Fresh fruit is always available.  If you don't see what you want, just ask! Laundromat around the corner, perfect location, very safe.  Perfect Old Town location close to all transport.

This hotel is located in the best place of Sarajevo, in Bascarsija.. Therefore, I easily reached most places to visit by walking. I stayed here 4 nights.. Breakfast was good. The owner was really friendly and helpful. My room was very clean.

It's hard to top the location - just steps from the center of the old town. The hotel is straightforward and simple; we had no complaints, but the selling point is definitely the location. Street noise was not too loud - and as always, the call to prayer from the neighboring mosque is as beautiful as it gets.

Good hotel, good location

Kovaci is a small family run hotel. It is located very close to Sebilj fountain ("Pigeon square"). It is clean. The service is very friendly and helpful. A small breakfast is provided. My room had air condition, but no fridge and felt a little small.

Central to old town, clean and friendly

Cleanliness is not good. they gave an old blanket that helped either in heating. the last night the heating was switched off. rooms are simple. I regret I wish I had kept another.noisy. close to the center. single advantage. they only spoke english. they do not speak another language.
