This guesthouse offers you a very authentic experience of a traditional Bosnian house. We slept two nights here, in a big with two big single beds, which were very comfy! we had a little balcony as well. The host was very kind and even picked us up at the train station and dropped us off at the bus station when it was time for us to leave. he also helped us with sorting out tickets. Thank you! Near the house is a brewery with a restaurant and a small supermarket. Highly recommend this place!

I was tired of loud hostels, so I wanted something quiet and cheap; I didn't expect much when I booked it, but this place surprised me in the best possible way! First of all, the location is amazing - close to the center but in a very quiet area; you have to climb a little bit but the views are amazing, both during the day and at night. I stayed in a very nice single room with a big bed, I also had kitchen and bathroom basically just for myself. The place is a little old-fashioned but nice and clean. And all that for a very affordable price! 
The owner was friendly, helpful, and easy-going, which made me feel like I was staying in my own flat. I was very happy to stay there for almost a week, it was like my oasis in the middle of the city, peace and quiet but still close to everything I needed. I am definitely coming back! If you're looking for a quiet place that feels like home, stay at Guest House Bistrik!

Had our own room between 3 of us which was literally a small apartment which was great! Decor is quite old fashioned but that was fine, was nice and homely and everything was clean enough! Nice balcony area outside and the owners are very nice and friendly! They did our washing and drying for us and took us to the airport for no extra cost! Would defiantly recommend staying here if you are in Sarajevo 
 

They have free service of pick up from the airport/bus station upon arrival. Even requiring this service at last minute, the staff from Hostel & Guest House Bistrik was great and friendly; they accepted to pick me up there at the same moment as I arrived. The room was clean. I definitely recommend this place.

Such a great place!

Awesome place!

Pleasant stay

The rooms are really nice and clean and offered everything we needed. However, some of the rooms are at the street, which is so loud that we could hardly sleep. We changed rooms after one night. 
The service was the worst ever (just some examples): 
- No help with suitcases, although they don't have an elevator. 
- The breakfast was bad, we didn't even get a cup for coffee, they were out of coffee for 15 minutes (after which we still didn't get a cup), even telling them, that they were out of eggs, milk, coffee, cups and fruits didn't help, after 20 minutes of waiting we gave up and had breakfast at one of the restaurants in the city. 
- We gave 2 pair of pants for laundry, ask for them the next morning, they didn't know where they were, but promised they would bring them upstairs. After an hour I went down, they had found them, but they weren't cleaned.
